Money!?!?

i'm just worried that i wont get my debt paid off b4 I go. I have nearly £3000 to pay back so if I have £500 to take with me thats me just being exceptionally lucky. I have been stressesd out about this for ages-can reduce me to tears! :'(

 

i think the money people are taking is more for luxuaries, you'll need a couple of hundred for food and bedding, and the deposit for the apartment if you pay one and the rest i think is for emergencies or shopping or whatever. i wouldnt worry about not taking too much. you'll soon be earning!

Carol i really wouldnt worry - i'll be in the same boat as you - although my debts not as big i cant work till disney v much cos my exams and ive got an overdraft to pay off b4 i leave so i cant save - nightmare isnt it! So i think i'll be going carefully till payday and trying to take as much overtime as possible...

like Lindsey says people just take extra cos maybe they wanna buy everything they need for the year immediately... within a month or two we'll all be in the same boat financially anyway...

Dont worry about it too much carol. You don tneed a huge amount of money - just enough to get through the couple of weeks until you get your first paycheck!!

 

I have a Vista account. The debit card is very Disney, and the checks are free (I think...) I paid extra for the cute ones...

Or the checks are paid in ur account automatically??

I wonder, is because it is very handy if the money is put into the account.

Alrighties, I am here to clear up some stuff hehe.
You will receive your money every THURSDAY. Thursday = Payday!!! Remember that very well LOL. I never forgot it, because I was working merch and that meant I barely had any money. The money will go directly into your account. You have to pick up your cheques at the little office at Disney wardrobe. When you arrive you will have all the orientation classes and they will take you to open up your bank account one of those days. You can get the ViSTA debit card and you definitely should.

About the saying good bye thing....It's definitely hard in the beginning but the life and people there will make you forget all that very soon. This is a once in a lifetime chance!

This may sound a stupid question but are they good at paying people the total hours u work... just a few places ive worked in the past have underpaid people especially where everyones doing different hours...
