Monday Visa Interview

i got back at 8 - yeah it was nice to meet u all again (and nice 2 meet some new ppl) ;D

 

wish me luck for mine 2moro guys...gutted i couldnt come with u all today but i mite met sum1 new!!! any last minute tips or warnings about what time i should arrive or what do take etc etc??? thanx guys.......2 weeks ppl

 

Umbrella, even if you think it's going to be hot (I was stuck in the rain for an hour and a half before they even let me in the building)
Maybe your red disney dresscode book? That's how Liz and I spotted Nil.
In terms of forms just double check you've got everything on Yummy's list (they don't check to see if you've got stuff to come back to) and make sure you have the courier money (they accept cards if not) and an US-sized passport photo, not the ones from a regular booth as they are smaller. There are places all along the way to the embassy from the bond street tube station (the nearest tube stop to the embassy) so you'll be ble to get them done there if you need to.

@emma, like Zan says really, I bought umbrella (thanks Lizzie for the top tip! lol) but only had one person in the line in front of me so was ok. I got there about half hour before my interview time. They didn't bother with the proof of coming back to the UK stuff they just took off ya what yummy had on the checklist. so it should go entirely smoothly! ;D

@helen - I just wore jeans and a shirt and shoes. The girls weren't wearing suits, everyone in there is just smart casual i suppose! nothing well formal!

Craig has pretty much covered everything. It really wasnt very formal!! My only advice would be to take something to eat because I was there all afternoon and missed lunch!!
