Mobile Phones, Prepaid? Subscripson? What to choose and where to buy? ???

my boyfriend has already told me to expect a skype phone for valentines/our anniversary. Im def gonna get a phone when im out there, think im just gonna go for a cheap one as its only for a year and i dont really need anything to fancy since theres internet in the appts and i own a camera x
