I'm disappointed you only just now discovered this. Clearly an excursion for all to see the wonder of the Cheesecake Factory is now mandatory! Only problem with that place is that you need to at least have a slight idea of what you feel like for a meal... otherwise you'll be there for-ev-ah! Their menu is HUUUUUGE! And their portions are even bigger (yay leftovers!)! I really want to try this restaurant that's supposedly somewhere in Orlando that's called Texas de Brazil. http://www.texasdebrazil.com/ Apparently it has this huuuuge salad bar, and the servers walk around with skewers of different kinds of meat and don't stop giving it until you actually put up some sort of stop sign! I've heard from a few people now about it and gosh I wanna try! Would also want to check out the restaurants (and shops, etc) in Celebration, FL. I've only been there once, and that was literally just passing through to get to another spot, but it just looks beautiful there!
Texas de Brazil is on I-Drive I think, up near the Prime Outlets/Festival Bay Mall area. I haven't been to it, but I want to try it as well!! My dad has been to a Briazillian steakhouse in Toronto and he said at the one he went to they give you something similar in shape to an hourglass, with one end red and the other green. You put the green end up if you want more food! I think it's somewhat pricey (for a CMs wage anyways ) but I think if you got a group of friends out for an occasion it would be so worth it.
Oh gosh, sounds like the type of place I'd definitely have to be rolled out of! I can only imagine the amount of food some people probably manage to eat there! But if it's that good - hey, I don't blame 'em! I can definitely see it being a good time with a group of people though!! Plus if that's one way to get some good food in a CM's belly, then that's worth every penny. I refuse to go back to eating as I did on my last program... mmm diet of instant oatmeal, Wendy's, and Ben & Jerry's (BLECH!). There's probably a lot of neat restaurants along I-Drive, it's not an area I've really explored all that much!
Cheesecake is yummers! But choosing there is definitely a tricky job... their list of cheesecakes is literally 2 pages long! Usually the best plan of attack is to make everybody you're with order a different kind of cheesecake, and then you can all sample! The best of multiple cheesecake worlds!!
me neither, but i cannot wait to go and try it. *running to cheesecake factory, dragging matt and ginabelle along*
haha goodness! A Cheesecake mob boss isn't going to come after you guys! It's just something everyone can try (and clearly get excited about!)! A Cheesecake Par-tay if you will!
the food at the Cheesecake Factory is gooood, can't vouch for the cheesecake itself as i don't like it ahhhh American food, I can't wait!
the cheesecake is also delicious and big portions! plus they do it all to take out i you don't fancy the usual long wait for a table at dinner time!
I'd just like to say that I'm really impressed with how long we've been chatting about the Cheesecake Factory Granted, yummy food will do that! I bet their breakfasts are huuuuuuuuge too! Not that I could even handle that, my stomach can't take that much in the morning haha
We should be asking abt some sort of commission for all this free advertising we're giving them! (or big hefty discounts)
I'm with matt and ginabelle *pushes them out of hole as scared by rampaging humgry CMs!* Don't you dare try and drag me along Leom! xx
Oh katie, you wont be able to hide that easy. haha. I love the cheesecake you get at one of our towns local restaurants, it is amazing, but i cannot wait to try out the Cheesecake Factory, sounds delish. Do you not like cheesecake Katie?
Some of it - not a fan of new-york style tho Favourite is Tesco's finest mandarin cheesecake But I don't like the smell - too dairy!! xx
It's all good, they have regular cake too! They have one, and gosh I forget what it's called, but it's some sort of chocolate extreme cake... by golly there's no way that any human mouth could ever get around that thing... it's soooooo tall! Bigger is better I suppose! They also have some ice creams and what not too I think, but I've never tried. My heart belongs to Ben and Jerry's for that... and Dole Whip... and I want to try the Cold Stone Creamery - mostly just to see them do tricks with the ice cream!
