lol that is a good point!!! is there a big diff between wot f&b make and wot merch make?

 

Oh shit there sure is!!! I was a merchie, so I made no money. LOL While my lovely norwegian roomie came home every night makin between 100 and 200 bucks ( that's what I made in a week ). Merch was not very stressy and you had time to interact with the guests a lot more, spend more time with your co-workers, but the cash was definitely earned elsewhere! It kinda depends on the pavillion ( fancy restaurant vs buffet ) and the time you will be starting ( you might become a server in slow periods or when you are lucky you will become one around christmas/new years ). But definitely have more money in F&B!

Hey I was a happy merch girl! It's not about work and how much you make, it's about the experience in general. It is an awesome life and well I was happy to have some money in my account back home that I could spend, so I wasn't that poor.

I agree with that! I like the guest contact too , u get far more in merch than in F&B, thats y i wanted merch!

I totally agree, it's not something I want to do to make money, yeah it would be nice, but I want the whole experience
