medical insurance!

You need to get your insurace for the first four montrhs of the years contract and once you gte here disney will tell you all about the insurance you will have for the rest of your contract after that!! I went tthrough gateway for mine just for the convenience of it all - gateway send al the inf straight to disney and when you log onto the site about half the form is already fille dout cos you go through a special disney type page!! Much easier!

I emailed Jason about travel insurance and he said we only need it for the one day of travel and it's optional...it's just to cover baggage. He also mentioned insurance for our 'stuff'....its most likely that its covered by household insurance normally (which thankfully, all our mums and dads sort out! ) but you'd need to check if its all covered to leave the country...particularly laptops, cameras etc!!

I'm going to go with Gateway I think, for less hassle....I've got too many other things to do and it would be nice to not have to think about at least one of them!!

Hey Guys!

Not to worry anyone but you have to get seperate travel and medical insurance (yep i think we are paying to work there it's not even the equivalent of voluntary work anymore!). Anyway reason why you have to get seprate insurance is because travel insurance even though it has medical insurance only covers you if you are a tourist. It doesn't cover you to work abroad. I used to work in insurance and there is no way to get out of this one im afraid you have to get them sperate.
