I'm so excited that theres another person going in October. I keep reading the posts from the people going in July and I'm so jealous. And I think they do read to CVs. And the disney recruiters will prob read through it during your interview and ask you some questions about it.
Yes, i got asked in my interview to go through my CV and how my experience was relevant to the Disney program.
Congrats to those who have already had their interviews and have got places! I'm going to the May interviews and was wondering what I should expect from them - like what sort of questions you're asked? I'm slightly freaking out about it so it would be good to have an idea what to expect!
We all got slightly different questions. I was asked, from what I remember. Why Disney? What is your past experience and how will this complement you working at Disney. What roles are at the top of your list and why? Where in the world have you travelled? Where in the world would you like to travel? Have you visited/worked in the USA before? Can you speak any other languages? How do you think you will react to sharing living quarters with people from different cultures to your own? What is your current degree subject and how have you found studying it? How well do you get along with others? Hope this helps. My interview lasted 23 minutes, but I know of people whose were a lot shorter.
Thanks for that, have so much coursework to do before the end of May I didn't want to get to the interview and be totally unprepared! The questions don't seem too bad so at least I have a better idea of what to expect now!
Just to say that you may be interviewed in pairs. We were at the Birmingham Interviews. Was a bit strange though. They had so many people there. My interview was also very short. Only 10 minutes for 2 people.
I just think Kim recognised that me and Nina were Disney material straightaway but she wasnt convinced with you
I applied early and i guess they thought they would interview me then. I think there were other people there who applied to go in October as well.
Hi Guys, sorry to sound really thick but what is the Grad programme? Is it literally a programme for ICP graduates or for general Uni graduates?! ??? x
Uni graduates, you have to have a Ba or Bsc ICP graduates come under alumni, I think there is some kind of program for that?
For the alumni, check the sub forum here. I think it's a H2B visa. For the grad program, it's in association with the University of central Florida and you study hospitality management while doing the various roles the summer program offers in the resort. Good luck for everyones interviews, no one on here got rejected for the July places.
