May 27th Disney Pack Watch

3-5 days. They were shipped out today and should be here in 3-5 days. Cuts it a bit close, but whatever.

i already have mine, since APRIL, !!!, I JUST DONT UNDERSTAND WHY YOU DONT HAVE IT BY NOWW,!,

 

Oh yeesh. You think they'd be a little more concerned about this. I was at the airport today talking to some US customs people, and they were really shocked that it was being left so late. ???

 

Yea that's kinda scary... I remember talking to Eric before and he said not to book a flight until receiving the package. And then when I decided to look for flights anyway and asked him if I should still wait for the package, he ignored the question & just said,"You won't get the package at least until a month before you go"... Geez good thing I didn't wait, worst case scenario I won't get it until the day before I fly out! Yikes!

 

...We were never told not to book a flight - they just said we'd get our package a few weeks before in the mail. (A few weeks?...A week from today I'm leaving). I didn't even know there was anything important in it to be honest until like two weeks ago.

 

I just got mine I like the idea of getting stickers haha.

 

I was told not to book my flight till I got the package too. I am so glad I did not listen to Eric. I'm really nervous about the package now, if anything goes wrong with UPS or it's delayed we may not get it in time. MegD_CapeBreton I am so jealous!

Come home from work and there was... TWO parcels for me. Apparently Castaway not only saw fit to send me my visa, but someone else's as well. :

 

whos did they send!!! it might be for someone on here!!

 

wow...they seem really disorganized. Hope that other person gets it in time...

 

Last year we were supposed to wear the stickers so they could find us, but with this new desk thingy I'm not sure why we still are getting them. Ohwell. They're fun!

 

I also got mine yesterday! Yay!

 

Did you guys get it in the mail (p.o. box # ) ? Or delivered to your house?

 

I had to sign for it so I guess delivered. We don't have a P.O box.

I don't know if its cuz I'm a little drunk (had a going away party tonight) but I was trying to read thru my package n I'm a bit confused. I know we gotta fax the 1st sheet in, but I don't know what's supposed to be filled out n I don't know if we're supposed to pay for that $35 fee on there for the visa stuff because I was told that they would be taking care of the visa fees?! Also, the whole airport pick up thing, I know I read on here somewhere that they have a desk to go to, but the package says they meet us at our baggage claim & if we just got our packages reccently, shouldn't that be what we go by?!

I think we do have to pay the 35$ fee though, I was told we had to anyway. I paid mine yesterday, so I hope we were supposed to!
When do we will out the other forms? When we get there? Do we put our american social insurance number on them?

...and as for the airport...Ahh. I forgot about that.

 

i paid all the fees .. BOTH of them.. i dont care if they are gonna pay for them or not.. im not risking it at this point.

as for the airport.. im fairly sure they will be obvious.

 

Pay them. Last year the pack came with a receipt showing that Disney paid it. This year it didn't, meaning they didn't pay. Can't get ur visa without that receipt.

On other things, go with the email that Disney sent you about the desk, cause that would be more recent than whatever u were sent.

Do you know when we need the other 2 forms completed? I think one is castmember policies and the other might be housing...Do we need those for check in?
