Not true. They interviewed in Coleraine last Thursday and that was the only day for interviewing in Northern Ireland.
Maybe they just saw the presentation and decided it wasn't for them? Maybe the cost is too much or they didn't realise exactly what their jobs would be?
who are the Irsh employed by-Yummy jobs?-and can they do the CRP programme, seeing as there isnt an Ireland section at Epcot
Folk from Northern Ireland can yes, they would work in the UK pavillion at Epcot. People from Rep Of Ireland cant apply for cultural rep as there is not Ireland Pavillion in Epcot but im sure they can apply for the other programs??
has anyone actually been to the yummy jobs offices? i went there..cos its only a bus ride away from me...its when i took my cv to apply.....and..... for a company whos used by one of the biggest companys in the world...they had a very small...office.....if u could call it that....it was like...1 room...bout the size of hmmm...ya know the square of sofas in the lounge area in disney building?...bout that big...with 2 desks....was tiny!! and it was tucked away in a lil side alley off an east london street.
whoah the yummy jobs offices sound kinda squashed... i cant believe that pple would travel all the way to london for 8.30am and then just not bother going 2 the interview. does anyone know how many people didnt turn up?
yer i know as if people would go all that way and then decide to not do it, i bet that there was maybe only one or two people who didnt come back
actually i heard them call about 6-8 names out that didnt show up .....and i wasnt even there long! lol they even offered me an earlier interview cos someone didnt show up, but i denied it and said id wait till my time.
Hi!! This is my first post so i just wanted to say hi and that i had a face to face interview in Coleraine on Thurs 22nd March!! So i am now waiting as well. Some people came in their trainers and jeans and that.. didnt think they looked too professional, and some people left before it even started lol!! Oh well hopefully theres more chance for me.. I had my interview with LeeAnn and was more a conversation than an interview. She was so nice.. I dont know why i panicked so much before hand she made me feel so much better.. I applied for the JI Program.. Is there many other people applying for it!?
I can't believe they held an interview day here in N.Ireland on the 22nd and yet I was made to fly over to London for mine on the 21st, that really ticks me off cause they know its all at our own expense, grrrrr. Although on the bright side I did get to meet alot of great people from here and see 'Avenue Q' on the Westend and get to meet the cast afterwards, so thats my silver lining. I put down Merchandise as my first choice and I think I gave a really good answer when Kim asked me why. Then again Kim said at the presentation that 90 or 95% of the positions that fay were for F&B, so here's hoping.
Well I used a personal experience I had a few years back and really just elaborated on it. I don't remember the exact wording cause I was nervous as heck, but something along the lines of helping someone to find the perfect gift/souvaneir that reminds them of their magical visit to Disney and that I was apart of that and that it would give me a real reward to help someone in that way and give me a great deal of job satisfaction. I know from trawling through countless number of threads on this that they like it when you can give an example from something you've done, when answering questions. Lol, I just noticed how often I use the word magic or magical when talking about Disney, I now hope I didn't sound too repetitive in my interview. Yet the wait continues.
