March 21st London Interviews

Hi Guys

Just a quick note for final plans

The plan is to meet at the Disney Store on Oxford Street (outside Bond St. Tube Station) at 5pm on Monday, we'll then do the obligatory visit to the Disney store and head down to TGIs in Covent Garden (Make sure you all have Travel Cards for the tube)

If you cannot get to the Disney Store in time, make your way to TGIs Covent Garden. Map to the restaurant is here: http://www.tgifridays.co.uk/storefinder.phtml?store=10. We have the booking at 6:30 so be there by then and look out for us

Im almost ready to go. Im soo excited now. I spent most of the day yesterday getting ready. Getting my suit cleaned and finding my old DLP badge for luck. Now al I have to do is get my hair cut which I am not looking forward to cause I love my long hair.

Hey guys,

Everything seems pretty well set up for Monday/Tuesday now, but just thought it would be good to make sure everyone's got a contact number for at least 1 person in our group, incase trains screw up or someone ends up in the Virgin Megastore instead of the Disney Store :-\ Sure at least one of us will be online tomorrow if anyone needs that.

I'll be getting into town about 3-ish Monday, and heading to Hammersmith first to find Disney HQ and then come back to Oxford St, hopefully by 5. And then the best part, 6:25 train Tuesday morning. Bring it on! 8)

Right, I've got Colin's number, and Chris's I think..... We'd better say downstairs in the Disney Store I think..... otherwise we'll have people on both floors looking lost

 

well ive got a few peeps numbers so should be ok- and i reckon colins got everyones and as ill be with him all day it doesnt mater anyway ;D

My parents are just on their way to take me to lunch- im really pleased i get to see them before my interview! i know theyll be able to calm me down a bit!

Also, just thought id let everyone know ive got my badge making machine out (woohooo!) and ive got enough to make about 5 badges, so if theres anything anyone wants on badge let me know by the end of tongiht and ill do my best to make one for you

The disney HQ is pretty easy to fing.
When u get off the tube, u will be in the shopping centre.... when you leave the shopping centre you will be right outside the disney HQ, me and Kayleigh were told this after we trecked right around from the shopping centre but hey... we had alot of time to kill before our interview. But you can also go another was which is when u leave the tube and come out into the shoppin centre, u will c signs for the novotel.... head to that which u will clearly c when u get outside and the HQ is right smack bang next to it! There is a Steam Boat Willie picture facing the outside! Look out for the Mickey Mouse statue inside!! He has a sparkly tongue!!!

 

Thanks for the tips - sounds easy enough. My sense of direction's reasonable enough, but still good to hear it's pretty straightforward.

Finally earning my ears...phew...

Well we all went to tgi's and it was fab Jo rang the bell..... woo hoo

This is for us ...... we have our interview tomorrow!!!!

Im so glad I met up with all u folks, we had the best time even though chris did try to knock us out with his dancing skills!!!

I hope we all get through.... im mean come on ..... why wouldnt we!!!

First back

What a 24 hours...just to say a big thanks to Chris, Colin, Ceri, Gemma, Meg, Lizzie, Jo and Holly. I don't think I've been as knackered as I was today since I did a 46 hour all-nighter in the 1st year at uni - but having everyone around helped pull me thru and made sure I never got worried about it.

By some miracle I woke up in time for my interview and I'm pretty happy with how it went. Genuinely hope really strongly we all make it through, no one among us who doesn't deserve it!

And if we do a reunion, I'm staying in London next time 8)
