Its gone a bit quiet all of a sudden lol!

Any more new people on 21st?

Wheres everyone gone? I havent been in a big disney peeps msn conversation in ages! lol Maybe i just keep missing you all

Ive become addicted in the last few weeks to buying disney stuff off ebay.... oops. Im getting so excited about the interview, but also starting to get slightly nervous... I dont know what to do to feel more prepared- whats everyone else doing to get ready for the interview?

Well... I bought a Disney pen off Ebay LOL!

We both got bitten by the ebay bug it seems?

Apart from that, not much at the moment! Not spoken to many peoples lately, spoke to Mike from the 'Other' group yesterday LOL And Nat very briefly, but otherwise its been quiet on that front...

I have been reading up on my disney info to prepare but not much else at the mo! Just a quick question I have blonde hair!(bleached i think....) Is it better to be of your natural colour? I am thinking of dyeing it back to original colour what do you guys think? ??? ???

(sorry to invade your board again!) but I've been concerned about exactly the same thing!

My hair is naturally light brown/dark blonde so I have blonde highlights put in. Its not really bright or anything but you can see the blonde streaks if i tie my hair back, plus when it grows you can see roots! (nice!) ;D
I don't know what to do either?! Will Disney make us go back to our natural colour? Or will they let me keep it? And can I get my highlights done in Flordia!?

Just a note on the hair thing- when i went for my ICP interview, even though basically i had natural auburny hair with highlights(it was dyed but looked natural) they told me it would be too bright and if i got the job i would have to dye it. Now for the moment i wouldnt go doing anything crazy like dying your hair! but if you get the job, you may have too. If i was you id ask at your interveiw what they think, although in mine for the ICP the lady actually commented on my hair! And she said when you get out there the people that end who train you etc are VERY strict on hair colour/make up etc, and they will make you change it if its not natural enough

But for the interview stage id keep your lovely locks as they are lol ;D

I think I'll just keep it as it is for now and at the interview I willl ask, but i will tell them I am definately willing to dye it back if i get the job. Disney is much more important to me than the colour of my hair!

Thanks for the advice I think I might go for a change anyway.Another question for ya!!! what about glasses I have contacts lenses but my glasses are thick rim black prada with small pink gems on the arms not very disney whats do u think????

Hey Ceri...welcome!

I have my interview on the 20th (so I'm crashing again hehe), but I just wanted to say congrats on getting through.

I think most people are feeling a mixture of nervousness and excitement and certainly a few of us are going through an emotional upheaval at the moment...but hey its all part of the fun right!

I believe a few of the 21st lot are going up the night before, as obviously it is a very early start and for some people it is not possible for them to travel up on the day.

You know, I hope they are ok with my hair colour... It's my natural colour but I get sent home twice when I was at school because teachers decided it was unnatural..... could be a problem if Disney decide it is too :-\

 

does anybody know how long the interview will actually last?? are we going to be there all day to 5 or so or be out earlier?

 

As long as things work out how they seem to have done in the past, I think the people who've come from furthest away get their interviews at the start of the afternoon and are then free to go. Not sure how late into the day the last ones go though......

me too! but apparently they are questions from a presentation that they show us?! i duno thou bit sketchy on details!!

I think they are standard Disney trivia...so it shouldn't be anything too hard!!

The interviews usually start around 11.30ish I think and go on till 6ish. They usually last 15mins

thats not too bad!! i take it as soon as the presentation and ur interview is over u are free to go?!?? hopin to get wee bit 'o' shoppin done while im in london bein a 'tourist' and all that....hehe :

 

Well I would imagine I will be one of the last ones to be interviewed, so someone had better keep an eye on me so I don't get myself high on diet coke while I wait. I've had a funny day and been singing "I'm a little teapot" rather too loudly all day today because my boss gave me diet coke as it was monday morning and he thought I need waking up... silly boy!

 

Just briefly interjecting into your thread, don't worry at all about the trivia questions! They're just a bit of lighthearted fun; lots of people don't know the answers!
