    Hey everyone
Who is staying in the novotel or holiday inn on mon 28th? I've just looked on the hotelsdirect website and for both they charge per person rather than per room which will work out v expensive if i bring my mum! Is anyone else bringing family/friends? Is everyone generally staying 2 nights cos of luggage to keep the room on? Any suggestions?

I'm going down on my own, I think I'm probably only staying the one night - 27th. We'll have to all meet up and have a drink or something to eat. I think our twin room (I'm sharing with Ellen) was about £70, so maybe it would be cheaper for your mum if you book that way Zoe? I dunno- sorry! ::)

Zoe - most hotels would look after ur luggage after u check out for the day whilst ur at the interview - just tip the porter a few quid - ive never been refused yet.

    Good Luck

    Hey,

we are staying at the holiday inn cos it works out cheaper, although it's still £80 each for the 2 nights.

Have booked travel too... found this thing called mega bus that takes an hour longer than the train but has cost £2! lol. Thanks for the tip about baggage, i think i'll have to do that! lol. Who else is in holiday inn?

    Hey Steph,

I didn't realise that you could take people into the presintation with you.
Thats a good idea tho, coz if you are going with your parents they can see what the program is all about it will put their minds at rest. well Florida is a long way from home.

    Hi steph
i've managed to book through novotel rather than websites that claim they're cheaper! I got a twin room for £69 with my mum just for the night of 28th feb. Is your interview 1st March? I can't remember now!

    Hey

Not heard yet.  All i have is an email from Jason saying that it is either 28th or 1st but that i should wait for my letter.  Am really panicking now!  Have booked holiday inn from 27th till 2nd just to make sure cos we tried booking novotel but it is full already so haven't taken risk wit waiting!

I didn't know you could bring people with you, i might drag my bf away from the shops and to the presentation!  lol.

I'm dragging my mother along.. I hope this has a positive impact rather than reinforcing her belief that shop work and waitressing is a waste of time after uni  Also, I hope it doesn't make me look too much like a mummy's girl! - which i'm not by the way! Anyone else going to be embarrassed by the presence of their parents?

    Beth :-*

Beth - im sure your mum will come round to the idea. I graduate too this June and whilst my parents always let me do what ever i want i still know at one stage my mum was a little worried that this means i'll work for low sums of money for the rest of my life. She knows how much i wanna go back to America and how excited i am over disney and so is so supportive but still a little worried that it will all be a big disappointment.

It sounds a good idea to bring your parents but maybe one of u should check with jason. Cos at Glasgow noone bought their parents into the building...

    Best of Luck

hey. both my parents are coming with me coz i dont wana take my own car...but theres no way im letting them in2 the building with me!!! not out of embarrasment i just figure that im alredy running the risk of being too young compared to everyone else...having parents accompanying me wouldnt look to impressive on my part i gues! and they r realy clued up about the job i want and stuff after much chatting with participants over the years lol

I wouldn't have thought that they allow anyone else in....possibly for fire restriction purposes, or safety?! they might not be insured to have people in there who don't NEED to be in there!! maybe one of you should email yummy to ask.... :-\
