London Summer 09 Interview!

I think I'm just gonna stick with a blouse, jacket and skirt, or one of those 2 in 1 shirt with a jumper tops and a pencil skirt... AHHH decisions, decisions! I bought my shoes though Also if I wore a 2 in 1 jumper shirt, then I can put my disney pin on the collar sort of thing...

A 2 in 1 shirt dress sounds like a really nice idea Charlotte.

I'm getting more nervous by the day, but I just want the interview to hurry up and get here! There's only so much preparation someone can do!

 

That is exactly how i feel! I'm really looking forward to the day as well though, from what people who have had their interviews already have said its a really great day! I'm just looking at possible interview clothes on the internet at the moment!

I was wondering what jobs everyone hoped to get? xxx

 

I really really wants attractions!! It would be a dream come true. Atm my list looks like this:

1. Attractions
2. Main entrance ops
3. Bell services
4. Merch
5. Full service F&B

Not sure about Quick Service F&B, I wouldn't mind doing it if I got a good location!!

 

Attractions wasn't on the list yummy jobs sent me! At the moment though mine is:

1. Merch
2. Main Entrance ops
3. Full Service F and B
4. Bell Services
5. Quick Services F and B

I think i'm definatly going to keep numbers 1 and 2 the same but the others may change! xxx

 

I was in Ops - Attractions (back when it was still Ops - Attractions) in 06 and had the time of my life so I'm praying for a repeat of that this year.

I'm currently thinking:
1: Attractions
2: Character
3: F&B
4: Merch
5: QSF&B.

But pretty much everything after 1 (in particular 3 and 4) are open to being swapped around!

Things to do this week: Book flights, book hotel, get documentation from college.

 

as it stands at the moment i am

1 character performer
2 costuming
3 attractions
4 main entrance ops
5 lifeguard

but i am swapping around and reconsidering regularly!
dnt wanna put merch else i might get it as i currently work at the disney store....
and if attendant appears (for some reason i am still hopeful) its gonna be there!

I started doing some research on Disney but im not really sure how much you need to know

My list

1. Character
2. Main entrance ops
3.attractions (although its not on my list)
4. Merch
5. QS f + b

3 and 2 are interchangeable but i think after 2 1/2 years working in retail for a saturday job i think if they were to place me it would be in merch.

However, I just want to get on the program so anything is fine by me!

 

I have been working for the last 2 years as a lifeguard and I tehy asked if I was looking for a lifeguard role, I said not really as I could do that sort of thing back at home. I still put lifeguard down as my last choice but ended up with attractions which was my first.

I've worked part time in merch for the past 4 yrs so i would imagine that that is what i am likely to get if i am lucky enough to get a job! fingers crossed!

If we get new lists next week then i hope character attendent is on there though! seems i got a different listto quite a lot of people!

I need to get my last piece of documentation from uni, but they are being a little funny about it which is a pain!

 

I still have a form to get from uni too, *hopefully* I'll be able to get it done tomorrow though. I'm off to blag my way through a tutorial, I just found out it's going to be a test. Oops!

 

On the student status form, the bit where the uni has to fill it in, there's a question that says

...registered to attend our university/college as a full time student for the year __ to __

is that just 08 to 09?
not the full length of the course?

 

I think I had 08-09 on my form.

 

lat time i put the whole degree course on it... it doesn't really matter too much i think

 

I've put 08-09, hopefully that'll be ok. It's so stressful! I've checked a million times that I have everything they want.

 

Woo! I got pretty much everything sorted today!!

Got all the forms signed and sorted by college, booked flights, and hotels!!

I'm flying into heathrow on the 10th arriving around 9.15 and in hammersmith around 10. Staying in the Dalmacia hotel, and leaving the next day around 6 from heathrow again.

Woop!

I just need to get the photocopies done, and print off my cv then i'm done. Oh and get a jumper blouse thing.
