London Summer 09 Interview!

My suit is black, but I think I'll mix it up with a purple tie. Formal, yet a little 'fun'.

 

Is anyone else staying in a hotel in Hammersmith? I'm about to book the dalmancia I think?? Anyone else?

 

Only just occured to me to suggest it, but my halls of residence have guest rooms, £29 a night inclu bfast and dinner if people looking for acc.

Or I can have somone in my room for £10 - girls only though, unless you want to pretend to be my cousin (not gonna lie, it's worked before haha). I know, I know, paid and strict! But hey, I live with nuns lol

 

I'm wearing a nice black suit with white stitching round the ends and a white shirt I think and the most beautiful pair of shoes in the world ;D

After hearing everyones' result Im really nervous now! :-\

 

I know, me too, it's so scary. I'm so worried, because I never would've picked those people not to get in, and they all seemed pretty confident...but hopefully we'll all be successful.

I have no idea what to wear. Which shops sell cheap smart clothes??

 

primark are pretty good. i will be wearing a white blouse, grey cardigan with a beige skirt and beige beautiful shoesies!

 

I'd better get some good shoes too so i can compete!! lol. I'm so excited but so so nervous too. I guess that's good though, shows how much it means to me

 

I'm really excited too! I need to get a blouse though, and don't know whether to wear a jacket or not???

Is anyone else worried that all the good roles will be gone by the time we have our interview???

i think they have an allocated amount of roles for each interview place... well i hope so anyway otherwise its not really fair

I was a bit worried about that, but the roles seem to have been handed out pretty evenly - it's not like everyone got attractions or whatever. I really really want attractions, but I'd be so so happy just to get in!!

 

I really want attractions too! I think you're right penny, they probably have allocated a set amount of each roles to each interview because we didn't choose our interview date.

Getting all excited, 13 days until the interview! But that means 13 days closer to essays being due :-\ lol

 

Charlotte, I'll either be going with the Dalmacia or the Holiday Inn Express. Not decided yet!

And as for the attractions thing, me too! I'm praying they actually do have a set number, cos I really want to get into attractions this year!!

 

I really want attractions! My brothers doing it atm, and it sounds so cool! But at the moment, just hoping I get in at all :-\

 

so nervous guys, even if it is the second time around! fortunately i now have no more deadlines until after christmas! though that means all thats on my mind is this interview which is driving me crazy!!!

 

Awww you're lucky, I have two essays, trying to get one done next week, but the other essay our git of a seminar leader won't give us the essay title until the week before its due :'(

However last night just had dreams of the interview, I'm so nervous.

I have 2 exams and 3 projects in the space between now and the interviews! EEK!

 

yeah it would seem like a good thing were it not for the fact that i have to write 9000 words over christmas and im spending 4 of those days at disneyland paris so..umm...yeah not like il have nothing to do over xmas lol!

 

I'm soooo nervous and i echo the whole dreams about the interview thing lol! I'm staying at the Holiday express inn which i heard wasn't too far away from disney hq. Luckily ive done the majority of the c/w although over the summer i have two 5000 word essays - fun for me! And two days before the 'view ive got the semi finals of a mooting (mock courtroom) competition to participate in eek :-\

 

this next week had better go quickly......

 

I know, I'm so sick of waiting. I'm off to buy an interview outfit, I'm thinking of getting a 2 in 1 shirt dress but I'm worried it'll be too dressy. hmm.
