2005CP, looks like we're all staying at the Novotel!! I wonder how many of us there are going to be? I wonder if the interviewers are staying there too!!

 

When is everyone inteding to go to florida-ive said that id prefer January, but im not gonna push that TOO hard just incase there are more december spots (as Jason told me when i did the phone interview). Any verdict on the meal for the 20th??
I am in the turmoil of trying to buy a suit for the interview-Im quite short/petite and having trouble....sure I'll find something eventually-so excited and nervous about the 21st!!! Can't wait to get to the hotel and meet you all!

 

I don't think we've come up with anything definative with the meal. The rainforest cafe reviews kinda threw a spanner in the works. Then Jilly said TGIs was a tradition. Damn you Jilly! ;D

They asked me when I'd like to go on the phone and I basically said anytime after the end of June I was fine with. They must just think I'm a waster with nothing else going on. xD But I figured I had a better chance if I was as available as possible.

 

I said I was available September 2007-2008, as that is when my gap year will be. If not, then I cannot go as I don't want to put off going to university for 2 years to do it.

The email I got inviting me to F2F said they were interviewing for positions starting from September onwards, so I don't think we'll get anything before then.

We need to come to a decision about the meal don't we! The poll seems to have died, and there wasn't a clear winner! Also, Laura hasn't been on for a few days so we need to get everyone together to decide really, and then finalise numbers I think its between Rainforest, Hard Rock and then TGIs even though it got no votes!! We could always break the tradition! 8)

 

im here.. we all decided where to go??
im up for booking it if wev all come to a decision but its still looking kinda a bit blurry on the real decision??
the poll did die...ahh well maybe we shud just all say where we'd like to go at least then we no its only the people going who vote perhaps??

Are we choosing between Hard Rock and Rainforest, or has TGIs crept in too because of the tradition?

Also, we need to make a list of who's going so we can get an exact number Is there about 7 of us?

I'll be there so count me in, so looking forward to it!!!! Just because TGI's is tradition doesn't mean we have to go there, i like being a lil different, besides last time I was there we all ended up with food poisoning!!!!

Anyhow wasnt the final result of the poll showing Hard Rock as the winner. I don't mind either way!!

Hard Rock does seem to be the winner with 4 votes. Rainforest is down to 1, and TGIs has 2. So are we all decided on Hard Rock?? The last thing we need is food poisoning the night before our interviews!

hard rock sounds good to me have we got a rough number of how many i cud provisionally book..and always change it closer to the time if we have newbies wantin to join??

I guess 8 is a good a number as any as thats how many ppl took the poll we can always add and subtract ppl nearer the time.

I'm taking a stab at 7:30-8 should be a good time, just to make sure everyone has got to the hotel ok and chilled out for a bit plus it gives me time to go to my lectures and travel in to meet you all. We can always do it earlier but its mid week so it should be fairly quiet anyway.

Aye that time sounds fine to me. I'd probably say more on the side of half seven though because by the time we've eaten, nattered for a while and get back to the hotel we don't want it to be too late.

 

yeah sounds good 7-7.30ish then. mind you i got a lot further to go than you lot so the earlier the better for me, plus i got to get back into london for the interview lol, so much fun ;D ;D
