That kinda makes me feel better about the interviews a little because I can go any time after June and I'd be willing to wait for a space... 8)

I have a specific time frame (Sept 07 - Sept 08) in which I can go, so I might struggle!

I think that they need as many english people they can get really..You've just gotta go into the interview as yourself and be all smiley and happy..I am hoping because i've been before that means they liked me..

Yeah..its august the 19th i think..Im doing the J1 Academic Program if i get the job..My mate has already got the job..

Alexis told me that there June, July, August & September for the program i am wanting to do..at least i think thats what she said anyway..

There are some UK ppl who got already the offer for August 28th and Sept 11th but maybe they still have some positions open. The last few years they always had 2 departure days in Sept and another one in December.

 

hey emi,for cult rep there are no set dates - you will be asked at your interview the first date that you would be able to go over to florida (at my interview in November i put down 1st March 2007 and then my offer came in with a start date on 24th April 2007) they offer you a date that is after the one you put down,as far as i can tell (and im sure if im wrong some one will correct me!!) there are arrivals for cult rep once a month. There is a group going over March 27th and then my group on April 24th - hope that helps!!!!

Im still trying to decide whether to check my baggage or not. I'm petrified they'll lose my suitcase with my suit in it... But then I don't think I'll fit everything in my hand luggage now they've reduced the dimensions....Wah. :'(

 

Hey guys, finally got answers from my sis and unfortunately she can't get time of work so I'm flying over on my own, and the Novotel is no longer available on lastminutelondon.com and is back to full price of £160 so thats way outta my budget so I'm gonna stay with a friend for the night. I will however be spending all of Tuesday in London, going about taking all in, this'll be my first visit. If anyone needs company for some sightseeing/shopping whatever get in touch.

I'd love to go to the dinner but I also really wanna see 'Avenue Q', waiting since 2005 but this is the first opportunity for me to see it but its at 8pm. So I'll see all you guys on the morning of the interview, but if anyone wants to go see Avenue Q with me, let me know. hey everyone, how exciting in two days this will all be over and the waiting will be setting in, has anyone got any plans for 2moro? what time are people getting to the novotel at?
im flying into gatwick at 10am so spending the day in london and taking in the sights.

im so excited now but also tired from all the sleepless nights ive had on the build up to this

I was in the same position as all you guys 2 years ago (which is, frankly, quite scary!!!)...what I wouldn't give to be doing it all over again!!!

Remember to be yourselves...be cheerful, smile a lot, know your stuff about where you live and what you could teach people about your town!!!

and don't fret if you don't do as well as you thought you could have...I was rejected twice before I was accepted and it turned out to be well worth the wait!!!

Hi guys, sorry I've not been on for a couple of days as I've had lots to do an think about.

I'm sad to tell you all that I've made the decision to withdraw my application from Disney

Last thursday, I received an offer from the London School of Economics (LSE) to study there starting in September, and I've decided that its something I must do at this point in my life. I'm the first person from my school ever to get an offer to go there, and it is the university I've always dreamt of going to. It took a long time to decide what to do, but I finally emailed Alexis today.

I'm only 18 (well, I will be on friday) so I've told myself there will still be an opportunity for me to go to Disney in the future (perhaps on the summer programme), but right now I know that LSE is what I want to do. I want to get my degree on the way before I lose the will to learn!

Anyway, I'm a little disappointed in myself and I hope you guys understand... I wouldn't want to waste Disney's time interviewing me, and I wouldn't want to jeopardize the place of someone else who wants it more than I do.

I am still coming to London tomorrow, as it just so happens (by a scary bit of fate!) that LSE is having an open day on wednesday, so I'm going to go to that instead.

I'm really sorry guys and hopefully I'll still be able to go to the meal with you all if you'll still have me :-[ as I'll be all lonely otherwise!

I'll hopefully see you tomorrow but I want to wish you all LOTS of luck as I know you'll all be nervous!
