Get your linens there. And how heavy is the quilt? It depends on the time of year and how cold your roommates like the apartment. I had a heavier quilt during January and I was fine. But having a light blanket in May/June with roommates that liked the thermostat LOW didn't work.
haha! maybe not! lol I still havent quite decided what I'll do! shann said it might be an idea to take quilts and stuff from hom but vacume pack them! xxs
Thats a good idea... how do u vacuum pack it tho? I actually have an american duvet... i took it home at the end of the year... cos their duvets they call them comforters and have the cover built in... Though being the ditz that i am i put a cover on mine cos i didnt consider that when i bought it and mines just denimy and boring. I wanna take it if it doesnt take up too much room... save me buying another one! I could leave it at the end of the year and then id have space for all the stuff i'll have bought new! xxx
If I get to go, I would vacum pack my linens too, b/c that way it takes up limited space, and beside you should be able to check 2 bags of luggage on the plane and then take 2 for carryon. So... that should give you lot's of options. At least that's what the rules are in Canada. Erynn
yeah im either gona vacuum pack a quilt *marie u get these bag things i know those cheesy JML adverts do them now, u can get them from wilkos, woolies etc*, or im gona buy a comforter out there, or i have some of the velvety throw covers u get in hotels we bought out there so may take that. otherwise im havin my cousins linen, cos after he finishes his semester @ uni there he has 2 leave all linen cos he hasnt got room 2 bring it home, so may get him 2 leave it at the commons for me when he leaves in may!! lol, c if he could! xxx
Good idea Sara, Does anyone know what the max luggege allowance we can take??? (just for the extra shoes I don't want to leave behind lol)
i remember jason tellin michelle but it does differ per airline so i duno if this is just a rough guide u can take one hand luggage, and one laptop *if ur takin one* and 2 cases, with max 30kg in each. xxx
