Leaving July 15th, J1 Academic Program

Which airline did you fly with? I went with American Airlines and they didn't say anything about money. Luckily they found our baggage.

 

hey guys im on this programme too! i'll be in operations. i worked operations at moreys piers in nj last summer were i operated a mini coaster so i hope its the same kinda thing.

been reading thru the posts and have a few things to mention

- whoever asked about the housing forms, i emailed yummys an they said to just take those with you

errrmmmm ok i cant remember what else i was going to add lol. i've joined the facebook group and look forward to chatting with everybody. we should try and arrange our visa appointments on the same day so we can meet b4 d-day! i was bored out of my mind at the embassy last year so it would be good to have some company xxx

 

I went with US Airways! The flight was really nice tho..

If anyone's got facebook, i've created a group for everyone thats going to be on the J1 Academic Program this year..

Like even the June, August n September start dates..

Thought it was best seen as though were all going to be there together..

wow, you are really getting started! my recruiter told me i was gonna get the pack like two month before my departure!
but i really have some problems right now! i have the oportunity to finish university next semester if i dont go to disney! and on the one side i would really love to finish uni fast and get it done with!! on the other side i would also love to go to disney but i already did the cult rep program so its not that i would miss the disney oppurtunity and i would safe a lot of money...
i really dunno what to do!!!
what would you do???

I suppose you could apply to do this pogram again then next year if you chose not to go ???

asap....well, its not 100% sure that the uni thing is gonna work. i hope ill find out by next week. the thing is that in my studies i have to do a semester abroad and i have to do it next semester, which would be the disney job. but i already did a semester abroad when i studied something else and it could be accepted at my new uni...and they are deciding on that soon hopefully....im just so afraid im gonna regret it if i dont do it....uhhh, im such a mess!!!

 

Ah right I understand.
I don't know what to advise you I'd rather go to Disney than graduate early but then I have never done a program there before so its probably different for me. At the same time I cannot wait to finally finished Uni in a couple of weeks ;D

Lonja: Don't you have to be a graduate to do this program anyway, so therefore you'd have to have finished uni to go?
