Yeah I called Kristen today and she said she was getting a little nervous that the appointments were all filling up. It's all this waiting on UCF, lazy university.

 

Ah rite..Were waiting on the University of Central Michigan..Hopefully they'll be quicker..They are northerners and we all no northerners are way better! ;D haha..

cant you do you appointment without all the papers?? i did!! i dont have anything yet and i got my appointment....!!!

 

Emi booked hers too and she wasnt asked for any details from the papers. I have emailed Kristen and asked if we can book for a few weeks time by which time the papers will be ready. I'm a bit of a panicker, I always think of the worst.

 

Theres currently a 15 day wait time for an interview for belfast and only a 3 day wait time for London so it can't too bad surely. Our's is a student visitor visa, right?

Yours might be different to mine. I'm going on a Q1 visa and he said the earliest he had an appointment for that was the 10th of July. Had I known they werent going to ask about my papers from Yummy I'd have booked it weeks ago.

 

Ahh not too bad then, that was only updated a few days ago too. Seems they give priority to us academic types.

 

Kristen says we can try booking our visa appointments as long as they are no earlier than the last 2 weeks in June. I think I might try and book mine now and get one for the first few days in July if I can. What does everyone else think?


Edit: my visa appointment is in London on Monday July 2nd, 2.30pm.

 

Remember tho if you don't get the papers by the interview then you won't be able to go!

From what your all saying, im considering taking the risk and maybes booking it for late july!

 

John, Kristen said our papers will definately be here for mid June. A friend Becky booked an appointment today for June 22nd, as that is the latest they could give her. She's doing the same program.

Claire, the number I called is 09042 450100 and pressed the button to go thru to 'non-immigrant visas.'

I hope Kristen's not mad as everyone seems to be copying me and booking appointments before we get the papers, but I'm a real panicker and always think the worst is gonna happen, especially after Emi got told the earliest appointment for her July 17th departure was july 10th.

 

Yeah, Kristen told me that its way to early to book our appointments yet..She doubts that we'll get the paperwork through for it until mid july time!

So im guna have to wait a few weeks atleast! haha..

 

Kristen's sent an email to everybody saying to try and book an embassey appointment for the last week in June or beginning of July, and i've just got off the phone to them and it sounds like there is very few left for the last week in June.

My appointments on the 25th at 2.30.

 

I've started a revolution!! Kristen used me as a gunuie pig or however you spell them. Ace.

 

I rang today and also have June 22nd because they say thats as far in advance as is poss right now so Dylan gets special treatment!! :-*

Mines like 10 days later than everyone elses now tho, which is shit coz you'll all be sorted and i won't even have gone yet.
