I have been packed, and ready to go for 2 weeks now, I can't wait!! I hate waiting for exciting things, this is gonna be so much fun!!Also, what do you mean by throw in? Like a pot luck type thing, or just a get together?

Is it scotsmen, or irishmen that wear kilts? maybe both. I am half scottich, half irish, so I've never been able to figure it out, but I love wearing kilts!! I'm going to have to buy another one when I get down there, I have outgrown my old one...

 

hehe, it's the Scots who wear the kilts...whenever I am in a foreign country, people confuse me with being Irish! They just cant get the difference in accents...still I dont mind, since it helps with the ladies ;D I shall be bringing my kilt over (cost $1400 so I should bloody well get some use out of it lol)...I will be wearing it quite a lot, since it is great fun. I remember wearing it in Texas..didnt have to buy a drink all night 8)

 

The throw in - well no 1 really knows, its top secret and we don't find out till you have one!!! I think its a big party to meet everyone as soon as we get there, all I can say is I have been told we CAN'T miss it and its a great 1st night. Well I for 1 can't wait

yweah i knda heard some stuff about the german throw in and they said, like, dont wear any good clothes...and i heard some gross stuff about the german throw in...so i dont really know wether to be excited or scared

Yeah I heard a few things about the throw in, like don't wear good clothes and stuff, why - well we will find out when we get there, I just think it will all be good fun and a good laugh. iIve managed to see some photos of a throw in and I don't think theres too much to worry about, well I hope not lol

I thought I would just give u all an update: well I have just sold my car!!!! :-[ :-[
The guy has just left a deposit and will collect it nxt friday (so I can get to work this week-my last week)

I'm a bit gutted really coz I love my car, it was a 206, but I had the full sport kit on it and had my own number plate - I know everone will think I'm a bit sad lol But I liked it. Well the things you do for Disney!!!!

Just thought I would share that wit ya.

Hey Mandi,

I had my flight booked about 15 minutes after I got the call from Eric! I'll be leaving at 9:30, I believe was my flight time, on the morning of the 6th. The rooms are first come, first serve basis, so I wanted to get as soon as possible. I'll be arriving in Orlando about 1 or so, so I'm hoping I'll get a good room, and be able to relax a little bit, while I wait for everyone else!

 

Do you have to pay for the flight over there?

Colin in the UK disney usually arranges your flight for you and then you either pay them in full for the flight when you get there or they take so much a month out of your wage

 

Hey Helen - If the rooms are on a first come, first serve basis I think we could get the worst of the bunch if we fly Delta as the plane doesnt get to Orlando till gone 8:30 pm!

Who are you flying with?? I'm booking my flight this Thursday, well b/c it's pay day....anyways let me know, maybe we will end up on the same flight...

 

Dont worry, for the role of most disorganised, I win! ;D I havent even thought about packing, still havent got visa, and havent sorted insurance yet. When I moved to Texas for a year, I didnt start packing until 11pm the night before (and my flight was at 6am!) hehe. It's the way I like to do things...strange, but it's all good 8) Just to prove how laid back I am, I am off to France for 10 days on Saturday! Cant beat a nice holiday 8)

By the way, what is the cheapest insurance we can get that would cover us pretty well? I dont want to spend very much (I am Scottish after all!) so the cheapest gets my vote! I heard that Gateway is around £180? Cheers,

Hey everyone,

Just a quick question...is anyone planning on arriving early, say the 5th of December?  I'm flying out of Winnipeg and most flights arrive in Orlando late at night and i don't want to get there that late which means i'll have to fly the day before....Who knows, Disney may not like people arriving early...what to do, what to do ???   

 

oh.....and i haven't started to pack yet either, there's still time

I'm on flight 926, with Westjet, which leaves at 10:15a.m., and arrives in Orlando at 12:55, but then there is still a 45 minute drive from Orlando to Kissimmee, so I won't actually get to the Commons until close to 2. I booked the flight about 2 weeks ago, so I'm not sure wehther its full or not, but i hope you get on it, and get a seat near me. That would be awesome!

 

Will don't you need a passport to get into france? ??? Just wondering cause if your going to go and get your visa the embassy will hold onto your passport
