Does anyone know what the hourly wage is for F&B??

 

Mandi I think you start on $6.80 and then if you move into a tipped position it's $2.50 I think

Hey! Sorry this is late, I missed your message. I'm thinking I might wear just regular running shoes, but I'm not too sure. Maybe even some hiking boots, to go with my lumberjack outfit. Which actually kind of works, because I actually am a lumberjack in real life, or was, before college, so it would work pretty well. My feet are already used to them too, so you never know...

I am also leaving on December 6th, cant wait, will be bloody brilliant!!! ;D

As you may have guessed, I am from Scotland...I have spoken to a few of you through email and MSN (add me on munrowd@hotmail.com!!!). I am possibly the most disorganised person here. I only just booked my visa appointment (November 18th)...I havent bothered to sort out insurance yet. I'll get round to it one day 8)

Anyway, I'll introduce myself a wee bit now. I am 21 years old (bring on the tasty American beer!!!) and I have just graduated from Edinburgh University in International Business. (yawn! : ). I spent my 3rd year at uni over in Texas, which was brilliant, had a fab time. Currently I am working for Papa John's as a pizza boy! 8) How Americanized am I?! Anyway, will be fab to meet y'all on December 6th. Thnk I am flying from London too (but being disorganised I have no idea really!). Add me to MSN!!!!!!

Howdy! I will be working in Food and Beverage...I have been told that means I am in close contact with beer...perfect for a Scotsman ;D

Seriously though, this will be a fantastic experience for all of us...especially if, like me, it's freezing outside right now...I have been checking Florida's weather and it's around 75-83 degrees most days in November so far....woohoo!!! 8)

I can't wait to get out there and meet you all...the only thing I am not looking forward to is the flight over!

Hopefully will talk to you all before heading out...would probably have made more sense for me to fly from Manchester since it is closer to Edinburgh, but when they asked me I just got a brainwave telling me "Cheap Easyjet flights to London!!!", and being Scottish I just couldnt ignore the chance of saving a few pennies

I'm presently living in New Brunswick where i've been working for The Fairmont Algonquin for the past 8months. So, i've started packing cause i'm flying back home at the end of the month, which is Ontario and I have a week at home then i'm off to Orlando with you all.....I can't wait...so i've started packing and i'm just leaving my bags packed when I get home...

Which position were you working in the Fairmont Mandi? I had a couple friends up there working on the front desk for the summer!! Hope it was good times!!
