Hi,

everyone has been saying that the internet is free at the Commons, but what if you are living at one of the other places, do they all have free internet in the rooms??

I cant wait to get to Disney, and my laptop will make it easier for me to say bye to my parents and boyfriend at the airport knowing that i'll be able to talk to them when i want to!! ;D

OKAY theres a bit of confusion on what referbished means......
Refurbished laptops are laptops that have been used and during their usage had something wrong happen to them, they were then returned to the manufaturer, who inturn fixed the problem then is re-selling the laptop at a cheaper price. yes they will come with a waranty but not a very good one.....in my opinion its better to get a new laptop than a refurbished one....especially when you wont find out what happened to it for it to have to be refurbished

You can find Adapters in most stores that will convert voltage if need (like 220-110) and also make it so the prongs will fit into a different kind of outlet.

Nice, You will love having a Centrino. Thats what i have in my notebook and I love it, good battery life and fast. It's cool that it comes with Bluetooth, you don't see that on many computers here in the US. I don't have a clue how much £634.45 is but it seams like a good deal.

 

ooh cool...u from america then? Well £624 is about $1000 roughly maybe a few dollars more. But they say its 60pence to every dollar. So £600 to $1000 is about right. Yeh i need bluetooth to send photos to my laptop from my phone. But i dont know if that feature will work in the states. Do u think the centrino will work over in usa too!?

 

Ya, Centrino is the same all over. If your going to use the wireless 802.11 is a universal standard so you can get onto any area with wireless. The same with bluetooth, you will have no problems. I hate how America is always behind in technology; we only have a handful of Bluetooth phones. My cell phone provider only has one (verizon). I have it on my PDA but nothing else to talk with. I want a phone with it but I'm not going to drop $300 on a cell phone.

 

its crazy to think that america is behind on mobile fones! Everyone in England even 12 or 15 year old kids have fones. My phone has a 4 mega pixal camera on it! I can even take up videos for up to 10minutes at a time!! My fone has 64mb of memory! hehe wooo! Im definately brining it to usa, just gonna get a different sim card to use in it..hopefully. Altho i might get a better phone by then. Wot fone do u have? Mines a nokia 7610.

my fone has bluetooth too. Its really funny cos on the train to work i can bluetooth people and send little messages to them..bluetooth is free too! So sending photos to ur friends is cheap because u dont have to send them via texts

Man, I hate you Lizzie lol. That phone is like 10 ages ahead of what we have here in the USA. The most you will find at a cell phone store is a 1 Megapixel and it's not going to have bluetooth or anything. I have a LG vx6000



I hacked it and put .mp3 ring tones and a bunch of pictures but I'm sure that is something standard on your phones.
