Aye, but its slightly different on at&t..They give you more messages than virgin do in the UK, but they actually take the money off your credit, i.e. the $10 etc..Its still a great deal tho..I worked out how much it costs for 1000 texts on tracfone, and its something like $40!! So at&t's a bargain i'd say compared to the other networks..My mate was one contract there and his deal worked out pretty much the same as mine..

I just bought the cheapest phone, which was $11 I think..Then I took the sim card out and put it in my british phone..

Gotta watch tho, virgin don't have sim cards in america, there actually built into the phone..So you can't do it with them..I'd recommend at&t tho for definite..They should give me a sales job! haha..

 

Ah k..I'll get the phone with it I think, I've got a blackberry so can't put the sim in that. Was guna get a phone anyways. So this is available at Walmart with the tracfone and tmobile phones?

DON'T get tracfone what ever you do..They are the biggest rip off ever, its probably about 4x the price of the other networks..I'd say t-mobile is about twice the price of at&t from what I can remember...

If your guna get an at&t phone, then spend a bit more, like $40 i'd say, because its worth it to get a good one, although your bond to lose it! haha..

I've bought a samsung d600 or something like that it is off ebay, £20, had exactly the same phone last time, and does the job perfectly, its even got a camera! Is alot better than the one's u'll get over there as well...

 

so i could get the AT&T deal thing n then just put the sim in2 my unlocked british phone, cause that sounds a shweet deal

Aye, thats what I did..I've probs still got my at&t sim card somewhere, but can't be bothered looking for it for the sake of $10! It will only work if your phone's unlocked tho obviously...

As for the phone dan..I don't think they even sell phones that are as expensive as $70..I think the most expensive is like $50 or something!

 

Seeing how my smallest bills on my current phone is 100$ I think everything sounds pretty cheap! And I love my S/E c902 so I hope it works well over there too ^^

How do you get a phone unlocked?

To get it unlocked you can usually just find someone in your local market who sells phones or electronics.

 

Really, bloody ell..Fair enough..When I was there they all used to be like the nokia 3310 classics! They've obviously gone up in the world!

Ok I'm sooo bored at work. Waiting to finish so I can bbq and drink! My parents just booked for Saratoga, Animal Kingdom Lodge then New York in August, can't wait til they go (free house obviously!) but itl only be like a month til I leave by then
