Risks most be taken! of course they'll talk to me !! and maybe fall in love with me! hahaha! mmm i think i should still be doing research ...so please post!

1.-Do not kiss japanese girls until they become very good friends with me
2.-Nichol it's mean and not very optimist

I love this! This is one of the things I'm really looking forward to, learning about other people's cultures.

So here is another question, is it common place among your group of friends to buy 'rounds'? I.e., does one person takes turns buying a drink for everyone, or does everyone just buy a drink for him/herself?

Rounds aren't common at ALL where I'm from (east coast of Canada). It could be because generally people drink before they go to the bars and head out rather late. I've been living in Scotland for the past 14 months and here rounds are incredibly common! But maybe it's because people tend to drink in pubs rather than at home.

While it's great to have others paying for your drinks, it sucks when your turn pops up and suddenly you are out £20 :-\

yeah we do rounds, its great if u get the 1st round in coz then its ur turn over n done with and u can then sit back and relax all night while everyone else gets ur drink in just as long as u make sure u get all the drinks back that u gave out.

it depends though as if we are going to many bars we tend to get our own as each bar has different prices so some people could get away with a cheap round while others have a dear one!

 

the rounds isnt that common where i live but i still do that with friends sometimes!! ;D

 

Yeah in Mexico its very common 2 kiss everybody when u say hello girls to girls, girls 2 boys but not guys to guys.

So when a Mexican come and says hello to you and kiss your cheek dont be surprised or think something else hehehe

yeah we do rounds here in Yorkshire! always do the first round because u get to buy it at a cheap pub, if ur last u end up forking out club prices!!!

 

we do rounds here in portsmouth but its never usually that much for me cos i rarely go out in a big group jus my 3-5 girly friends ;D

here in france this is how we do it:
a boy meeting a girl for the first time: 1 kiss on each cheek
2 girls meeting for the first time: same thing
when  meeting an older person we shake hands
boy / girl frienship: kisses on the cheeks and maybe a hug
girl / girl friendship: kisses as well,hug
when drunk: attitude all depends on how much they ve drunk that night i guess

when you meet a friend a big hug laugh and screem (for me it'slike that so don't be my friend I'll be laughing and screeming all day and all night long lol)
when you're drunk and meet a guy or a girl : who knows I never been drunk but sometimes so see so many things lol....
