Just had Interview!!

Hey! Im new here, and i had my interview in London on fri. Am i the only one whos really not too hopeful? I dont think the woman liked me at all! Though reading through everyones comments it seems we all got asked the same Q's.

Any idea how many people they accept? Is it like, LOADS?

 

If it makes you feel any better all that stuff's happened in the last year!! And anyway mirage will ALWAYS be Mirage in my heart...also, £1 drinks at Top B just when im not there to indulge

Anyways better get back on topic here!! Becky...I would say I am being positive but realistic I'd like tot hink I have a good chance but then so does everyone else! If it makes you feel any better one minute Julie seemed to be like my best mate and the next she looked distinctly unimpressed so you never can tell!?

 

Yes! Thats exactly what i thought - my interview was in the afternoon so i guess she got a bit bored with asking the same q's.. and she said something about the "disney look" to me? Dont think she was too impressed with the piercings/makeup! Oh well, only time will tell!

 

Becky try not to worry. I thought my phone interview went so badly that there was no chance i would get an interview so you never know. What jobs did everyone put?

 

I went to the interview on friday.....

I put operations down as my first choice and then character assistant.

I agree about Julie, at first we were talkin bout films and bout y i'd been 2 florida so many times and the she just chaged at that point i thought id blown it and had sed sumit wrong!

I put operations then merchandise. I think she was a bit unimpressed with my lack of work exp too, woops! Does anyone know when we'll start to find out?

I put down Vacation Planner then Merchandise. As for work exp she specifically said in the presentation you needed no experience! Try not to worry - everyone has to have a first job somewhere

Yeh, iv got tons of work to do but i keep wondering back to this site.

I dont recognise anyone by their pics - i guess there were so many people there, i made a little group of friends and i dont think any of them have been on here! I hope loads of people get through!

 

Hey Becky, it's Nicola. I'm guessing you're the same Becky I hung out with all day! Welcome to the boards.

I never felt like my interview was a chat, she didn't seem to be talking to me much, just asking me questions (also about work experience + what I wanna do in the future - argh!). Hopefully it went ok though. Waiting for the result is driving me mad!

Oh my gosh - HEY! Yeh, she asked me about work exp. and i was like, err.. i had to make it up and pretend i worked in my mums office over holidays! Im not too confident about getting through, i think its just me worrying, but the suspense is killing. The day was fun though and i got lost in the disney building after my interview. I got out of the lift on the wrong floor. ;D

 

I can't believe it was a nearly a week ago since I had my interview in liverpool. This week has gone so quickly but it means that we will soon all find out the results.

Aled u think itll be by the end of the week. You're making me nervous now I didnt think itd be until next week.

Since I didn't go to the london interviews were there lots of people there? There were quite a lot in liverpool although not sure how many id guess around 50.

For what it's worth, the Dublin Interviews (March 10th) were told they'd hear by the end of march, start of april...

Personally, I wouldnt hold my breath for hearing this week anyway...

Well - Julie & Megan said we'd hear in 2 weeks max (with emphasis on the max!!) so I'd like to think we'd hear before. But then, there were interviews yesterday and Monday as well. So I'm hoping for the end of the week but think more realistically beginning to middle of next.

According to my dad, his friends son went through it all last year and he heard the next day! Guessing he was in the last interview at London, so may be sooner rather than later
