June 20th FLIGHT

I dunno maybe... I was told to wear a red t-shirt when I called today to tell them my flight details.

 

i think i will call them about it tomorrow! so far i have been told only to wear the stickers they sent in the pack! after i call in the morning, i'll post for everyone!

 

yeah it could just be us H-2B (or is it H-B2?) peopel that have to wear the red shirt I dunno.

 

Yeah I was told to wear the Red T-shirt as well, and as Kala said the Disney stickers. Best of both worlds.

i just called cast-a-way and left a msg, so as soon as they get back to me i will post!

 

I e-mailed Nicola about the red shirt thing, she said it's a Disney instruction and she doesnt know anyting about it. She suggested I call the travel co-ordinator that's been calling everyone to wear red in the first place.

 

yeah she just wrote me back with:

Hi Kala,

You can wear whatever you like when arriving at Disney. If you wanted to double check with Disney you can contact them on the travel arrangements number on your acknowledgment form, however, we have not been told of any special instructions for the CRP employees.

i havent recieved my visa for the june 20th - nov 10th program ... but has everyone here booked a return flight to? ... i wasnt sure if the visa will end on exactly nov 10th so i was just going to book a one way and book the other one when i knew .... incase i wanted to go somewhere ... but the travel agent siad that i would most likely need a return flight cause they could stop me at the airport without one...

 

Usually the work visas have a finished work on date and a must leave the country date, normally these dates are quite a few days apart. so there is time for you to take a road trip before you leave the US. Also I don't think you will get stoped at the airport for not having a return flight booked, there could be many reasons why a person wouldn't have one booked what if you were planning on driving home, what if you get a work extention or if you are or self term. Im not 100% on this but I don't think they will be asking to see your return flight as there are many reason why a person may not have one booked yet.

Stacie I also haven't received my Visa yet, so atleast we're not alone in that (I'm June 20th - Nov 10th also) ... and I didn't book a return flight either. I figured what happens if I get termed or have to come home early ... I don't want to pay double.

OMG it's coming up crazy soon! Eeeeee!!!! So excited I can barely contain myself. Guys, I graduated from University yesterday and I'm more excited about Disney right now!

 

Also a June 20th person here but I thought we got paperwork in our package that we gave at the airport and we recieved our visa while crossing the border

 

Oh really? I thought I remembered Eric saying something about sending the Visa in the mail ... cause we needed to put our street address ont he forms we filled out ... no box numbers. I remember cause I made a big deal about it infront of everyone because I live in a small town ... I don't have a mail man, it all goes to the Post Office.

 

Jordan like you I thought we actually get the visa when we cross the border, Im pretty sure there is some paper work to be done beforhand but I think we get the visa or the approval for the visa at the airport. Maybe we have the visa in our hands but its approved at the border. Im thinking thats why they say make sure the pepole at customes know you are on a 6month work visa, so they give us the proper parer work we need.

 

Yeah I think Eric does have some important things to send us but I was under the impresson that it's not the actual visa itself.

Yup, I called Eric about our packs, and he said that they're sent out by Disney and we should get them a few days before we leave. seems a little late to me...

 

A few days.....So when do we start to panic that we don't have them? the day before we leave?
