So from waht I can figure we're all going to be in Toronto in the early morning and leaving for Orlando around 10 - 10:30 ... and I'm pretty sure Westjet and Air Canada use the same Terminal ... maybe we'll all be able to meet for breakfast of something. Meh ...

If nothing else we'll all be getting into Orlando at the same time ... I bet they'll just send a bus to get us all! *laugh*

I dont thnk you have to be all formal! My friend who left in March for the Cultural Rep. program was wearing a tshirt, hoodie and jeans. ..Disney themed, ofcourse but comfortable nonetheless.

I was wondering about what to wear on arrival too.The book thats attached to the package says on page 5

"Included in this book is the Disney Look book, which clearly describes the expectations for appearance during your employment at Walt Disney World Resort. It is expected that you will meet this standards upon your arrival in the United States. You will also be required to wear professional attire to orentation and to any company event you will attend out of costume".....

Sounds to me like we are supposed to sorta dress up.

I dont think that means as SOON as you get there but to have professional attire ready for your orientations later that week.
I could be wrong...maybe someone should call Cast-a-way and check?

i was under the impression that we are required to dress professional for training etc. i thought that's what they meant when they said to be dressed professionally upon your arrival. i think it's just because we have a "meet and greet" that night, along with training the next few days after. i don't think it's for when we get off the plane

I remember Jeff saying something at the interviews that if we weren't dressed properly or our hair didn't meet requirements when we get there that they would show us the direction of the mall and salon.....Something about Id pics being done right away, but I may be wrong or that may have changed. I know we don't get our official Id for a few days after we get there, but I think they issue some sorta temporary Id to get us in and out of you housing and what not. But again I could be wrong.

Yah there's been MANY occasions where guy's hair has been too long or a girl's hair was two unatural looking. They just send you to the salon but that ID that's taken right away is for your commons ID, you dont get your park pass and ID till you do traditions so you dont have to be looking 100% when you first arrive. No one will anyway, Sh!t kids, I'm taking a red eye!

Im sure as long as we don't look like we are dressed in rags we will be fine. I want to be comfy on the flight and hanging around the airport:)

Yup, important to be comfortable. Especially if it's a long flight for you.

my flight leaves at 5:20am and i'll definitely be out with my friends the night before. i will probably be too excited to sleep on the plane and will definitely be a mess by the time i get to disney... therefore i apologize in advance for the ridiculous first impression i will make! haha... but i think if they send me to the salon directly it might do me some good! haha!

i think we can dress as we please for our flights down there!
