Jason said at my interview that they try to- almost definitely the flight, and then hopefully with the seating too, which would be cool. I guess if you apply for a flight through them in time they just make a group booking for the flight and so presumably you'd be nearby other Disney people? I might just wear something that says 'I'M DOING THE ICP AT WDW, SPEAK TO ME FELLOW CAST MEMBERS' as well... Or not...

And re: turbulance- that's the best bit! It's like a rollercoaster in the sky- getting you in the Orlando mood before you've even landed :p :D

i'll be flying out on June 12 and we don't a have a Non Stop Flight to Orlando from Paris but we'll have to stop over somewhere .

Most of the time i've stopped over somewhere in US and never in UK or in Europe . I'd love to stop over in Europe because i don't have to take my luguages to the other flight to Orlando Florida .

earlier this month we went to Florida for 2 Weeks and we had a Non Stop flight to Miami and and then we drove to Orlando .

That would be great to fly to London and then Orlando with others CMs on the same flight to the humid , hot , Orlando .

I did it for the first time this year, I went to Tenerife to my friend on my own, I was fine and I really don't like flying, the worst part was waiting at the airport, really boring. You'll be fine, just think about what you're going over to!

Yeah the excitement would keep me going, and you've only gotta do it twice in 6 months/ a year, so its nothing to worry about!

    I love flying...
ive flown many times alone, its not so bad, actually its nice....
you get to meet new people, you see a lot of things usually u dont when in group, you learn a lot of things, and you decide what to eat hahahahah,,, ok pointless the eat thing but its acutally nice,... i've made many lone trips by air/land and its great... if u get bored you can always buy a magazine or play sudoku or take out your lap and play some games... oohh and if a girl sits next to you its gonna be a nice fly thoug.... i've met 2 hot girls while traveling alone, one of those i was goin to cancun so we got friends while our stay over there and we had such a great time....

Hello everyone! Happy new year! :D
Yes, I would like to add myself! ;D I am flying out 12th June as well! Starting from Berlin. And - hard to guess - will be working in the german pavillion - merchandise. Juhuuu, sooo excited!! Hope I find a flying buddy - I don't like flying alone - there are always people sitting next to me who like to tell me their lifestory! :p

i may possibly say london depending on the time of the flights etc cos i have a place to stay in london, BUT if its a case of getting a train down manchester is probably easier for me! although, booking train to london at the right time can be really cheap...

I've been looking a bit more seriously at flights - and thinking of booking one soon. But having Disney book it seems more convenient - anyone know how much more expensive it is?

Also, WOOOO, 131 days~! The numbers are slimming down! WHO'S EXCITED?! (haha, a little shoutout to all the June arrivals!)

And just a question for all those waiting (so patiently, I'm sure ::) ) what are you all up to in the four and half months or so that we all have left in our lovely countries? Working (sad/excited to leave it?) or school (whatchya in for?) or something else?

As a Canadian you are responsable to book your own flight (ie. We don't have the Disney option).

Boo! I at least wanted it as an option, even if I probably wouldn't pick it ;)

I booked my flight last week and did it myself really without yummy's help. The prices in the UK are going to keep going up the more seats are sold on the flights. I already saw it go up 40 pounds before I booked. I did still book with STA Travel though, which is the company they use.

I also think that for seating, it's maybe still possible to sit together even without yummy's help. A lot of the time you are assigned once you're at check in after all. "Would you like a window or aisle?" etc.

I fly from Glasgow to gatwick, then on to Orlando from there so anyone going from either of those two airports, we may still be able to hook up!

    June 19th, UK F+B :)
