Yeah in Canada you normally get your pack 6-8 weeks (or less) before leaving... ie we still got a few more weeks to wait before we get ours

It really does feel official!! And the time is actually flying by, I almost wish there was more time to work here and make more money before I go!

 

lol not me, the way things are going I can't wait to be done working! Money would be nice but work is starting to get to the point where I'm getting ready to be done.

 

i'm just working for the money now, my heart isn't exactly in it most of the time! And my work dries up during summer so there's not much after the middle of May for me anyway. Which isn't too bad as by then I'll concentrate on getting things ready for leaving.

I just want to move on now!

 

I know what you mean, I can't concentrate at work anymore, not long for us all now! ;D

I haven't yet, i'm going to get my visa sorted first, i'll probably do it a couple of weeks before I go

Don't cry, I'm sure you will get it soon.. And I actually havent seen my package, My mom recieved it but right now I am living in alberta and its 18 hours away from home so she is mailing it to me. You can still get ready to go without your package, I booked my flight a month ago!

I was wondering, the people from the UK is a mixed group or are most of you coming from England? I know theres around 8 of us going from Northern Ireland but are they many Scottish/Welsh people going as well?

 

wow, didnt realise the amount of people flying out on this day, me to, who else is flying from Manchester? 2 weeks left and counting!!!

 

there are quite a few scots this year, Jason said at the interviews they were looking for more Scots, I assume for a balance(?) So we're all spread out over the year though, but there's a few of us from up north
