July 29th Peoples WOOP!!!!!!!

yeh, see i went down on the 2.45 coach and came back on the 8 pm coach so by the end of it, i was completely shattered! yeh i have 3 years of merchandising experience but doing food and beverage will give me a new challenege so i am really looking forward to it.On the presentation when there were still images on the screen and he said they probably dont mean anything yet, all i was thinking was i wanna be there! so have you worked at disney before then? my boyfriends on the programme where hes only there for 3 months and he goes in june but hes never been to the disney at orlando which is going to be a massive shock for him! what date are you actually flying out then?xx

 

I'm not sure maybe 27th or 28th.. My bf is still on the waiting list, so hopefully he'll get a position too! are you going to see yours while you're there? i havent worked at Disney World before, only in the Disney store here in the UK. But I've been through all the Disney training like Traditions, which should be helpful! Yeah i loved the presentation! the commons looks amazing!

yeh i will probably see him quite abit and hang out when we are both not working. we were best friends before we got together so the long distance thing shouldnt be soo much of a problem when he goes home. i hope not anyway! what did the training consist of at the disney shop then? yeah i have seen pictures of the commons and i cant wait to get there. i am not bothered where i stop but if i could choose then i would pick there i suppose.have yopu ever been to disney before then?xx

 

the training was 4 hours of playing teamwork games, disney trivia, learning about what disney owns, and how to interact with guests etc. It was fun for the first couple of hours and then everyone started to get bored lol. I think we do it when we're over there too. Yeh I've been to disneyworld 11 times, its my favourite place to go! have you been?
Ooo my boyfriend jst got a phone call saying he's got the job too! He's goin in Sept though. Eeep I'm so happy! lol. xx

 

ohh dude! thats amazing that your boyfriends going aswell!is he going for a full year then?to be honest the training doesnt seem to be, my ideal sort of day lol. yeah i have been to disney 3 times soo far and cant wait to go back in july! i havent been in 5 years soo i am really looking forward to it! i dont know about you but does it feel like nothing can make you unhappy at the moment?xx

 

Ooo a lot has changed in 5 years, you HAVE to go on Soarin in Epcot, its the best ride ever!! Yep he's going for a full year too, we're going out tonight to celebrate. I cant wait! Yeah I want to get traditions over with in the morning and then go to the parks in the afternoon.

 

yeh, you think as soon as we get there and we are sorted out, we can go to the parks for abit? it would be a great way of getting to know the people your stayiong with really wouldnt it? when i got my phone call last week, i was on holiday at centreparcs with my friends soo it couldnt have come at a more perfect time really.whats soarin like then? the last newest ride i went on there was mission space which was fantastic!xx

 

Yeah that's a great idea! i really want to get to know the people i'll be staying with. i'm so excited about the parks! Soarin is amazing! Its my favourite ride after Tower of Terror. Basically you sit in hangliders and they lift you over a huge imax screen, and then you see a film and it's like you're flying over California, its so beautiful! Its always so busy lol. I'm gonna want to go on it everyday when I finish work, hehe. I have always been too scared to go on mission space, eek! xx

Wow this is ace!!! its great to know that theres a few of us going to work in food and bev and going at the same time ;D Its gonna be so much fun, and theres already a party being planned haha. x

 

hehe,well thats th way to get things goin i guess!just got bk from florida as ive been out for the week to see my friend whos workin in merch. was good to see wher we will b working, and try to get used to th weather. it was soooooooooooooo hot!!xx
