right jst spoken to Hannah @ Yummyjobs, apparently we cn pay the assesment fee once we get there. Phew its only $85.50 aswell. is everyone using the Seven corners insurance that has a link on Yummyjobs.com? apparently the amount is shows for the 4 months, we have to pay that in full! then after that the disney insurance will be activated.

 

thats mean we germans have to pay for the assessment fee 89.09 $ ^^

but hey guys, i will leave in 20 days and you in 24/25?! i am so excited to meet you all, hopefully the throw in will be not so mean!

the throw in is the welcome party, but nobody says much at all, still a mistery for me haha, the mexicans just say: "it's a surprise", "you'll like it", "you'll see" and stuff like that but they don't give more information

 

some germans say it will be mean, and its sometimes really really mean, and i should be aware of it,, so i am a kind of nervous

 

yeah i heard that... more 4 guys, i guess they stick up ur face in the toilet or something like that LOL don't believe me much anyways, so... must i pay my assesement fee before i get there?? i just don't understand that ???

 

of course you MUST pay it before, its like a confirmation you will really come and with this payment you get your appartment

 

i was tld i can do it once we get there. either way im not fussed about the throw in. lol

I'm beginning to think I'm talking to myself on here! Where is everyone this weekend? Hope you're all having fun, whatever you're up to. Clearly, you guys have lives! Maybe I should take the hint? LOL!

Anyway, I've begun to think about packing and things and I wondered what everyone was doing for bedding? If I take a pillow and duvet, I literally can't take anything else! No clothes or anything. I'm hoping we'll get the chance to visit Wal-Mart on our first evening and I'll buy some "el cheapo crappo" night stuff. However, if we can't get there until the following day it could mean a rather uncomfortable night.

What's everyone else doing?

 

Hey Tori, I'm here! I have bought a duvet and one pillow. They're quite squashed up already but I'm taking 2 suitcases so I dont think space will be an issue, but I know others are doing the vacuum seal thing. I got my bed covers yesterday since you wont find duvet covers over there. I'll get another pillow at Walmart I think! I cant sleep with just one pillow lol.

i ahve also bought a thin duvet and a pillow.if you get the pillows from marks and spencers they come wrapped up pretty tight anyways soo they have fitted in my suitcase pretty nicely and i am only taking one suitcase...well i say that now anyways. i need toi buy my duvet covet now but i am stuck between high school musical, hannah montana, tinkerbell one or just an ordinary grown up one lol. i guess i got to make the decisions fairly soon!

Get a disney one!! I got a HSM one yesterday.. I really wanted Hannah Montana but there wasnt one :-[

 

I guess you should bring just few clothes... well... as you are a girl.. i doubt it but take the less that u can, i've heard that everybody goes to walmart to buy bed stuff and sometimes the store gets out of them... who knows, i'll bring my pillow and sheets... LOL that'll remind me of my home :'(

 

i decided to buy pillows and stuff at walmart, because we will arrive 11:20 am at mco and so there is enough time to get settlet at our appartment and to go to walmart and therefore i could try to take just one suitcase

 

last yr in liverpool i use to sleep with around 8 to 10 pillows with different sizes. now my room mate will have a choice of 8 or 10 pillows to smuther me if i snore!, i wna sleep outside for my first night by the pool or prob wont sleep coz il be too excited. I'm sure theres no mosquitos in florida... i hope!

yeah i am taking clothes aswell,although i dont think 4 pairs of boardies and flipflops counts as a lot does it?? (i am undecided on the shirts)
