Hey guys...as my vacuum bag idea went down so well haha i thought i'd tell you how it went, bought two for a tenner from woolworths and my single duvet shrunk down to a bag 50cm by 90cm and like an inch thick, and my pillows are even smaller im gonna have more space than i thought haha.
think i need to get out more lol.

just a quick note on the vacuum bags if customs go through your bag they will have to open the bags which means getting the stuff back into the bags can end up being a nightmare. just i seen it happen on the airport program and the person was some what screwed.

 

oh no pippa hope that doesnt happen to you, im jst gna buy all that once i get there except bed linen which il prob bring from here.. im most likely gna fly off from gatwick coz all of you are on the same flight so im gna try and get that particular flight. if not itl be heathrow coz its 5 mins from me.

last year i have been to florida, and i loved the ceasar dressing, so i bought one and puted into my bag...
so i checked in my luggage and had to give it a person...
and then a friend told me, the police opened a bag
and i was like "hopefully not mine"
and of course it was mine
i was wondering what would be in there, that they search for it
i saw all my dresses flying away, and started crying, because i was frightened anybody put drugs in there without i noticed it and stuff....
and than i saw a bag in the hand of one officer, and took a bottle out of it, and i was like "what?!" they opened my bags, because they thought the dressing would be a bomd
honestly, i never thought about the dressing bottle would look like a bomb!!!!
that was so crazy!!! so i would not use vacuum bags
and i mean, its a lot of work putting stuff in there, and remember the bags have a weight too, maybe more weight than the air ...


another question, nobody answered me the last time i asked, what about a dinner of all 29'ers ?!
that everybody bring something or we all go to a restaurant, i mean the 5 first days we will have enough time after 5 pm
what do you say!?

 

my bro n sis work as security in heathrow. they select ppl in random but also once everything is scanned, if they see any sort of bottle. they wud have to confescate it. u're not allowed so much liquid with you. even perfume bottles have to be those regular bottles and not those large ones dat most ppl bring apparently.

I just wanted to check something. Who else is flying on flight number BA2037? It leaves Gatwick at 11.05 and arrives at 15.20. Someone (you know who you are!) has confused me by saying most people are flying Virgin but have the same flight times. Is it possible that it's a shared flight number?

Spose thats just a risk you have to take with them, but with it just containing a duvet and no other bits they'll probably just x-ray it and its more about saving on the volume rather than weight so there won't be many other things in that suitcase. Im flying with virgin and it gets in about that time x
