well all this talk of partying has give me a great idea, but im affraid it will be for us over 21's tho.
as soon as we get our appartments, im goin straight to the nearest liquor store and buying a shet load.
then its party all nite long. plus its the best way to break the ice with people youve just met.

5 months yesterday. Time is going quick, although maybe not fast enough.

Have we got a final list of who's starting the 14th.

Not sure if anyone remembers the young scottish couple from the friday interviews who are really cool, but Daz was telling me that they start then too.

I've still got to get the insurance sorted. Also i need to book a room at the Comfort Inn at Buena Vista. It's a 4 star gaff around from where the apartments are. It's usually like £60 a night through UK Travel agents but if you book direct with the hotel they are doing an amazing rate of $36 a night with hot buffet Breakfast. Sadly the deal ends on the 10th July ( 2 days before i arrive) but i'm holding out for a similar deal soon

I'm wondering if we can change our name on the badge. Because my name is STEPHANE, but English people say it STEPHANEE, like "Tennessee". And this sounds like STEPHANIE, the female name of Stephane in french.

And i don't want to be called like a girl during 1 year!!!! I already lived this situation in London. My colleagues called me "princess stephanie", like the Monaco's princess!!!
Well it was funny, but 1 time is better than 2!!!ehehehe ;D

 

I suggest calling your agency. I don't know if the badges are made ready for you when you arrive or they check with you 1st before making.

Exactly 16 weeks till we go. -2 days for me but it 16 weeks still seems AGES away.

 

They are made ready for you before you get there. If your nametag is wrong, you can request a new one in your first few days of on the job training.

 

Ahh you all better get the party started for when Sarah, Charlotte, Amanda and I arrive a month later ;D

I got accepted a week ago, I'm going on the 14th too! I didn't read this whole forum..because its a lot of pages, but it looks like most of you are coming from the UK? I'll be working in F&B at the Canadian Pavillion..I think we'll be neighbours ya? WOOHOO. can't wait. My twin sister is coming in December. Its coming up so soon!

I'm arriving around 5pm US Time on the 12th July. I thought i would need the extra of couple of days go get over the jet lag but from what i've been hearing, disney give you quite a bit of time off in the beginning to help you settle in.

I think everyone else is currently arriving on the 14th
