so today i got the welcome pack thing in the mail

first of all i got the J1A academic exhcange/ internship experience pack!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! shouldnt it say "cultural Rep" or something like that!! the forms go on and on about taking classes and such!!

AND my visa forms are all messed!! half of it says my name and half someone elses!! the people at immigration are going to be like WTF

It's like that for everyone. I have about 60 names on my list.

 

no but because i am filling in someone's visa i know THAT name will be dif. but i have an additional sheet of paper attached to the front which is requesting for me to fil that visa. it say's my name 1/2 the time and amanda the other 1/2. not my name.

 

Right, I thought you were talking about the I797 (or whatever) form. Hope you get it sorted out then!

 

Have you spoke to yummy? Maybe its supposed to be that way because your on a replacement visa aren't you?

 

i called yummytoday and kristen asked me to fax her the sheet and she is going to try to get it all sorted out!! it's just scary cos i dont have that mucho time !! eek!

Exactly 1 week and i'm off. JP and i will be getting ready to board the plane about now.

Couple of little things to sort out and i'm ready to go. Was a bit worried as i accidently squashed my passport up when flying back from Liverpool. Luckily none of the pages got ripped and i've flattened it out now. Phew

 

Carnt wait to see Lee JP And Jo next week carnt believe ive been here a month!
anyone else coming out that date or soon after?

Oh, sorry..I thought he mean't just the UK,

I'm not sure how many there is from the other countries..I no there's only a few from the other countries in the pavilion on here that are starting the 14th, not sure how many though..

I'd guess there's about 40 altogether from all the pavilions...

 

i think there are only 2 or 3 germans starting on the 4th.

and a bunch of norwegians!

In just over 5 days, we'll be on our way. We'll see the rest of you guys on the 14th when we all go to Walmart in the afternoon. Glad we get a few days of training/ time off to get settled in properly
