God your 'Hardcore' JP You've got another holiday before Florida haven't you?

 

Why can't we be there now. We're missing out on all the fun.

 

I no yeah, don't worry tho, the time is near!

i finally got the date for my visa appointment - June 26th.

 

OK, the countdown has sunk in for me today and nerves are creeping. Went shopping today and spent LOADS. Got a hand luggage case which is bang on the maximum dimensions too.

 

I have my visa ;D ;D ;D

 

It's such a relief to get the Visa part out of the way as you know it's done and nothing can stop you from going now. ;D

I've only got a couple more things to do now. Get money changed, pay Housing Fee, Get Insurance and pack.

Can't think what else we need to do really. I can't wait to get settled into the commons on the 14th and we all head off to Walmart in the afternoon.

 

Me too!!! I arrive at 14.20. has anyone booked mears transport yet? i think i might get a cab with them so i arrive sooner

I don't know what time Walmart closes but we could always wait till early evening and all go together. Saves on Taxi fare too

 

I thought wallys was 24hr?

 

suits me fine. i prob wont sleep much first night because of the jet lag. i also still want to eat at ihop that night lol

 

Not sure if Wallys is 24 hours

but the busses do not run there 24 hour
on certain days, think its monday, thursday, saturday and maybe something and i might of got it all wrong

anyways
on 4 days a week the busses only run til 5pmish to wal-mart
and on the other days, they run til 1am

if theres a bunch of you, you could always catch the bus there, and a cab back, its usually around 20$ back, but usually you go in a group of people. so its not bad x

 

i walked in the cold and rain today to get my travellers cheques and the post office was closed humf

 

cold and rain is a bad combination! they shouldn't be allowed to mix!

tue thur sat the H Rote start at 9 but they changed it till 3 aug so it starts at 11 n finsh at 6.30
mon wed fri sun starts at 3 but they changed it to start at 1. if u live at visa it picks up on the hour then commons 12 min every hours then chatham 17min every hour

i'd say a july 14th group trip to wal mart once everyone gets there is def in order! and ihop for dinner? i think we should make it happen!
