It's not hard to get to, drove past it last time i was about in florida.

I'm probably going to get an american driving license so could easily hire a car and drive a few of us down.

As for halloween, I bet it's all amazing, but it's my birthday the day before too..

 

I'm hijacking your board a bit here, since I leave on Aug 18th but... One of my best mates couldn't swim when we went on hols this year, Lee, and by the end with our help he was snorkelling! You'll pick it up really quickly!

Oh, and I've never been to Busch Gardens, never been on the Hulk or the dueling dragon... never been to Florida! ;D Jo has dibs on seeing my face when I first see the Wishes fireworks!

 

The Halloween Horror nights are on every night for about 2 weeks at Universal, so there's plenty of time to get spooked from there.

Swimming is something i definately tend to do in Florida and like you said i doubt it's hard to learn

 

I can swim, used to practically live in the pool, over the years my confidence has taken a bit of a bashing with it though and i'm not a strong swimmer.

I do really enjoy it though.

 

Everytime i've been to Disney, we leave the wishes fireworks till the last night of the Holiday before leaving and they always make me cry. The music aswell as fireworks are amazing. They just make me sad that i have to go home

i've been to busch gardens once, and it was coool! i couldnt go on any of the big rides tho, cause i was like 6

And And theres something called a fun card, where you can get in seaworld, busch gardens and discovery cove for a year, for like $150ish

Worth it i think?! yes please!

and and and they have a universal studios/island of adventures annual passes - cant find the price for those right now, and they include wet n wild

 

I also want annual Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon tickets, if they exist!! Water parks are so much fun. Discovery Cove, I didn't even think of that. I've wanted to swim with dolphins since I was 7. Although given the choice I'd sooner go swimming with Shamu! xXx

 

Aren't BB and TL disney though? so don't we get those cheaper/free anyway?

yeah i've been wanting to ask people for a while - do they come free like the other parks? also, does disneyquest/all the other pleasure island that requires tickets come with it?

also, busch is amazing - SHEIKRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!

 

suppose we'll find out with packs/when we get there!

 

The 4 main parks are free. The 2 water parks are discounted and as far as Disney quest and Pleasure Island, i heard they've all been closed down and are being replaced

 

not the whole of pleasure island, just some of the clubs?

i read on the dibb (if you don't know what that is, you're missing out - people like my dad go on it to plan and do trip reports!) from a CM that DQ is not closing down! woop woopx
