wrote my 1st draft of everything i'm taking with my in July and it's a lot more than i though. I'm not sure if i'll be able to fit it all in one case. Need to have a rethink. I don't think you can even buy a bigger case than the one i have

I'm assuming all those with July 14th have the same finish date of July 9th 2010?

So you really need to take two bags or cases..

Because its gotta be split pretty much evenly...

 

Had a rethink and i think if i buy my bedding and pillows from Walmart once we arrive, then i'll be fine going with just one case.

I'll need to buy another in Florida to come Home with, plus i'll probably ship some stuff back over before hand too

 

Yeah man, just make sure you budget enough for it..

As I think that walmart is pretty expensive!

 

do you know what your doing? Are you taking 2 cases with you or buying one out there?

 

I'm taking 2 bags with wheels..Like holdalls..There's just as easy as cases, as they still have wheels and I find that they don't get broken as easily..When there throwing them around at the airports!

 

Walmart isn't expensive, that's why everyone goes there lol

 

ahh i was gunna ask how much stuff everyone is bringing! i feel like i'm gunna bring too much..i only have one suitcase but its ginormous! so i don't know what to do..maybe i can get opinions from girls? im sure that we'd take more stuff than guys would haha.

 

i'm pretty sure i could challenge a lot of girls in the suitcase competition...i'm a bit of a heavy/unnecessary packer

 

I dont really pack, Its more like stuffing

 

I'm gonna have to buy some new luggage - I can't believe how expensive stupid suitcases are!

Melissa, I'm prob gonna take as much as possible - lol! I'm finding it hard to imagine being able to fit my stuff into two suitcases!! When I used to go away to uni my whole car boot and the back seats would be stuffed full of things! And that was my Dad's car which is quite big! :S

 

I'm a bit of a fashion freak so I'm not guna be able to let go of a lot of things that I should! Lots of clothes, even though I'll clearly buy loads there. But I'm thinking I'm guna be too busy to go shopping at first. So I've started buying shorts and stuff already haha

 

It's a bit of a catch 22. Either take one case full and buy another case out there along with bedding ect or Save myself £70 on another case and borrow my friends and take my bedding with me.

I'm already very worried about bringing stuff back as i simply know i won't have room to bring everything back. Bedding and pillows i'll throw away in Florida as i won't need those. I think i'll have to vacume pack my clothes and post them back seperately

 

Too be honest, I flew on virgin on my last program and it was fine..

I took two bags full, 46kg is a lot of weight to be able to take..

In all honestly though, I did leave a lot of clothes in Florida that I probably wasn't guna wear again..

Its definitely catch 22, but were probably not guna get a proper shopping trip in for a while, so will need a fair bit to last..

Although, just to warn you Lee, I plan to go to the outlets when we get there, could do with a new pair of jeans for house of blues ;D

 

i bought a huuuuuge PINK suitcase the other day ;D

but i think im gonna bring a 2nd suitcase too.


im just kinda worried about where to put the suitcases whenever we got there? i dont think they will fit under my bed.

 

What sizes are the suitcases you're taking. Any bag to me looks huge when I think I've got to drag it around with me! I'm thinking a big suitcase and an smaller one - you can pick them up cheaper in outlet stores. I want fabric ones that condense in size so I can store them easier. I think people keep them in their room closet.

 

The size doesn't matter really, its how much it weighs! (No dirty jokes please! )

I have two huge holdalls with wheels from last time..And you could pretty much fit anything but the kitchen sink in them!

There easy to carry, because you just wheel them along! And also when you get there, they'll fold up and fit under the bed! Thats why I bought the holdalls..

I'm sure they'd do a pink one for all your girls, haha!

 

My Suitcase is not one of those bomb proof plastic ones but it's quite tough.

It's massive and i could fit myself inside if i tried. My mate has got the same case so i may borrow his as my second case. Saves me spending £70 on another case in Florida. They will be a pain to transport alone but i think between me and JP, we can sort it.

Also i think we'll need a mini bus rather than a cab because of the luggage

 

I'm pretty sure thats why we invited laura wasn't it man? Haha..

How much more is it for the mini bus? Sounds like a plan..

 

It will probably cost about the same.

If Laura could give us an idea as to which flight she's going for, we can see what kind of transport we'll need. It will certainly need to be something BIG though ;D

We're arriving around 5pm, be 6-6.30pm by the time we're at the hotel.

Sounds like we'll be straight to the HOB then although i have no plan to get rat arsed as soon as i arrive
