Me too, we have nothing like that in the UK. I can see myself becoming a fan quite quickly. I've heard Ben and Jerrys ice cream is dirt cheap out in Fl.

 

Everything thats bad for you is dirt cheap!! haha..

 

haha heck yes it is! i live pretty close to the border(maybe 30 minutes on a good traffic day, depending on what crossing and the lineup) and have heard of many people that go there just to get cheap disgusting food. and when i say disgusting..i mean amazing.

 

Haha, thats like people who hop across the channel to France for the day for a booze cruise, only instead of food they load up with cheap alcohol.

 

WAHEY DOVER TO CALAIS! i've never done one, but my pops has done several. him and a mate take a car over and buy lots of wine on behalf of them and their friends. and in case the tax man is reading this, they don't sell it for a profit hehe.

the food one sounds so much more fun though!

 

Booze cruises aren't good! I went on one in ibiza..And you just get smashed and then everyone is sick over the side! Hahaha..

 

Norwegians is the world champions of crossing the borders to get cheap stuff. Swedish food, beverages and tobacco is like half price, atleast now with the strenghtened norwegian crown vs the weakened swedish one. And we also risk getting stopped at the border

 

haha i guess its not just canadians going over to the us to get shit! back when our dollars were just about even(actually..ours was worth a little more!) we'd go shopping down there at the crazy giant outlet stories and everything is like half price, but you have to pay taxes on everything when you come back across the border. unless you take the tags off of everything and wear all your new clothes and throw away the receipts...then they'll never know.

Im John..But most people call me JP, im from near Durham in England, and I'm going to be working in the UK Pavilion doing F&B..In my final year of uni, but just handed my dissertation in and have only 3 exams left ;D

 

As we are getting nearer to leaving, i think i'm going to rewatch the annoying CRP video to get me in the mood ;D
