Yeah, I definitely agree with that..Would be nice to get settled into my apartment and that and find out where im guna be living! Wana find that out ASAP!

 

Me too come to think of it. I've not really given that much thought, I cant wait to meet my room-mates! It'll be like uni all over again, only it'll be much sunnier and.......just generally much better lol

Im pretty sure there is a Mears Shuttle you can get..Its kind of like a taxi..But you share it with other people I think..Think it costs about $10..But its not as reliable as a taxi, so you may have to wait a bit..But I guess you could call it when you land in the USA and it would probably be there by the time you have your luggage..

 

Mears Taxi from Orlando international is around $45.

 

Yeah, this is a different thing tho, its like a shuttle..It takes alot longer than a taxi, because it drops everyone off on the way..But if your on your own, it will work out alot cheaper than a taxi...

You'll have to PM your seat number on facebook lee! Then I can bag the seat next to you!

 

i wasnt even that worried about paying a taxi on my own.
its just that ill miss a whole day if i get there so late
lets just hope that another flight will come up that gets to FL earlier!

oh and btw - dont we get coupons or something like that with our disney package that get us from the airport to disney for very little money anyway?

haha laura i don't know if theres a dq near there..but i am manager of the one where i live and am addicted to it too! when i get there on the 14th sounds like we need to do a dq run..haha

 

Can't say I remember one to be honest! Im not a massive fan of ice cream..Its empty carbs as they say..

What i've Done
. Cheque is sent to Yummy Jobs. That covers the Criminal Background stuff
. Faxed acceptance form to Florida, got a postal reply
. Sent off Criminal background form and got a green confirmation form that we take to Orlando
. Flights Booked and Paid for
. Hotel in Orlando, sorted and paid for with JP and Laura

What i need to do
. Need to buy Insurance, will do with Travel Direct who are £190 for top cover but £27 back via Quidco
. Around late May/Early June we get to make our London Embassy Meeting
. We pay $100 housing fee or something before we leave
. Take Housing agreement form with us which we sign

I think that pretty much covers it?

 

I think its best to email yummy about the visa waiver thing..

Im not 100% but im sure I filled it in on my last 2 visa's..But at the same time, this visa is completely different to them, as they were a J1 and this is a Q1 visa..

You are all way far ahead of me! It wasn't even a week ago since I got accepted!

We have no DQ in Norway afaik I'm not the one that eats too much candy, but ice cream, I just can't stop loving ice cream
