Has everyone else already been for there visa appointment?

 

No, we're still waiting to hear about that. The CRP visa is done quite last minute, I think it's something to do with the expiry date that they'll have after they're issued. The visa is whats making me nervous, can't wait to know that its sorted.

Im sure it'll be alright, don't see why they wouldn't offer us one..I think that if we get offered the job, then they've already checked whether its ok for us to get a visa..

hey what does everyone do for work? does your places of work know you're leaving?? i told mine already, just because i am a manager and i need to give them plenty of time to train a replacement..but they were pretty pissed and i got reeeemed out by my boss for a while! now its all good, but im glad i told them this early..now i can freely talk about to my work buddies haha

 

I'm a bit jealous - you're all going out a month before me! Can't wait to work with you all, though ;D

 

I am a student..But planning to get a full time job in a few weeks for a bit before I go..Im just going to tell them an opportunity has come up abroad and I feel that its too good to turn down!

Guess you can say whatever you want though, I guess it doesn't matter unless your planning to go back when you get back from orlando...

Me and my mates met 4 awesome girls from Canada when we did our last program! They used to party with us all the time! What part of canada are you from? They were all from Newfoundland!

 

haha thats pretty much what i said, too good to turn down etc..and they're letting me come back too haha. which is sweet because i've left them to go overseas 4 seperate times!

heck yes im from canada! haha seems most of you are from the uk?? im from a town just outside vancouver, bc. never been to newfoundland though. its ages away from me!

Seems like there's loads of people starting July 14th! Guess we'll have to have a big party when we all arrive! haha..

Im so excited, just wish it was tomoro and not 3 months away! Alls I can say though is that I did a different year program and had to wait a bit longer than this..So I would say, enjoy the wait, because its all part of the fun! The adrenaline rush knowing that you will be there soon!

 

Sorry for the tad late reply, i've been away for a couple of days.

I haven't changed my hotel booking yet but i can do up to about a month before arrival, so if anyone wants to save some money, share at the Comfort Inn then let me know. it's come to $120, so $60 for 2 nights as i am arriving about 5pm on the 12th which is the Sunday.

Can also share a cab from the airport which looks like it will be about $40.

I don't bite and you'd get your own double bed in the room, or could always upgrade

i'm starting to get really excited now and just want to go

Actually, just looked at the flights for July 12th..And I can get the Virgin Flight from manchester for £350, so I may do that too be honest..As I think that it will be worth the extra investment..And means I'll get in abit earlier...

 

alright, now we just need another girl so we can share the room with 4 people, which would be super cheap.

Or you guys just share one double bed and i get the other one. haha

certainly don't mind you sharing, just trying to find rooms which will accommodate us, as some of the descriptions are a little vague.

edit. the only way really of getting this cheap is by sharing a bed with one of us lads

Don't panic Laura, it's all sorted. JP and i have got it sorted.

We've got a Family suite which sleeps 5 people at the comfort Inn at Lake buena Vista booked. Cost was £120 but we've got £10 off via Quidco and i found a code which gives another £20 off, so total cost was £90.34

Is that OK with you and then you can give me cash when we arrive? You'll get your own bed so no sharing
