Sam thats so exciting we have our interviews on the same day. Good Luck. Anyway i'm hoping to do the college program cause im in my 2nd year at Sheffield University. I have exams all this week and the interview is actually on the day on my last exam so i dont think ill be overprepared for it. What progaram do you want to do? Kirsty. Well done for getting through to the march interviews. They've kept you waiting for such a long time. It must be really frustrating.
It was my choice to postpone my F2F until March, originally I was down for November - got the F2F email and everything, but uni graduation got in the way and messed that one up!! - But hey, there were really great and let me postpone so I could go to my graduation - can't miss that!! The college program sounds cool as well, but I'm in my last year now, so hopefully I'll get to do the IP instead - What do you do at uni Louise? Hope everyone is ok? xKx
Hi ya again! Cant get rid of me! Louise Im hoping to do the college program to, i'd love to do the year long one tho after uni....who knows what will happen! What are u studying @ Sheffield? I am only up the road in Leeds! Wow kirsty i would be on the edge of my seat if i had to wait that long....im sure u'll get in tho everyone sounds like disney potential! Hope all ur exams go well! Sam xxxx
Kirsty and Sam I'm doing genetics at sheffield. What do you both do? There dont seem to be many people who've applied for the college program. I'm glad i'm not the only one.
wow - sounds impressive!! I study Theology and Religious Studies and am mid way through my final year!! Can't wait to finish now, but still have sooooo much work to do. I think that time goes on more people will find their way here - there have certainly been a few more added on here in the last few weeks. @Phil...sorry for not replying to your MSN the other day. I was just on quickly to check where my exam was before heading off to it, so please don't think I was ignoring you - so sorry xKx
Hi ya Louise, Your course sounds hard...argh, but then again its uni so.... Im studying television and film production. Its so hard tho funnily enough! lots of practical work which includes a lot of maths...yuk yuk!! Im not complaining tho i do love it even tho its difficult at times. The good thing is i have work experience on Emmerdale and This morning soon. Well excited. What have you guys been upto or is it just exams at the mo!!! sam xxx
Hey Everybody!!!! How did those with interviews get on? I keep coming on here trying to see who's at what stage and I keep getting too excited and nervous listening to everybody else gettin excited. It's crazy ;D Kirsty.... No worries bout not replying to my msn!!! I hope your exam went well?? Phil x
I've dropped out. Alexis was great but there was only F&B and Merchandise position's available. I was looking indeally for Guest Relation's or failing that Attraction's but unfortunately it wasn't the case. I've got a great job at the moment so it just wasn't the right for for me to do, I still want to work for Disney and I will still be looking at other area's with the company. In regards to the interview you will be asked about the culture, what you would tell people about the UK etc. Good luck to everyone who has an interview coming up, I hope everything works out for all. Daz
Sorry about that Daz...thought you knew that was what you were applying for...unfortunately us English folk don't get a choice in that side of things!! Oh well it was nice chatting and getting to know you anyway!! Thats pretty cool Sam about getting to work on cool programs...I don't get to visit many places, although before Xmas we had to go to a crematiorium, mortuary and funeral parlour...needless to say I didn't go to any as I am terrified by death, so I miss out on all the excitement hehe xKx
That SUCKS you dropped out but thats good you're still looking for other areas of the sompany to work for...
Hey Kirsty, Your course sounds really interesting. What sort of things do u do? I couldn't got to those places either it would just freak me out! I dont like to think of things like that! Im sorry to hear that Daz but u'll get something better next time! Sam xxx
It's actually quite interesting, which is why I swapped from Business Studies after a year to do it. I study various religion, both world and new religious movements, theology (study of God), philosophy erm...this term I have to study: Intergrated Spirituality Hinduism in the Modern World Millenium and Apocalypse just before Xmas I was studying Contemporary Christian theology, Mapping mortality and Religion in Britain today!! - Sound fascinating right!! Hehe I am writing my FYP on a critical Christian analysis of the Harry Potter phenomenon I really enjoy studying religion actually...just hate the exams. I think this is where my love of other cultures and meeting people stem from (Sorry for boring you!!) xKx
Kirsty and Sam your courses sound so much more interesting than mine. I dont get to go on any trips anywhere and you get to go to Emmerdale. That sounds like so much fun. My course is just really hard and boring most of the time. Maybe i'll have something positive to say about it after exams.
Hehe, well I think my course is boring...still I guess it's good we are all different!! - Wouldn't do for us all to like exactly the same things (well asides from Disney of course!!). I have my last exam of this exam period tomorrow and then going to spoons for lunch and a drink so that should be fun. When are the next TI's? xKx
Wow Kirsty that sounds amasing but i couldnt remember all the things that you must have learnt....well actually i guess its not as, its interesting so the more u enjoy the info, the more u take in! How did the exam go? Louise what do u do on ur course. Im sure its not boring at all! I bet its actually really interesting! Sam xxxx
Hi guys. Sorry I've not been on for a while. I was still crying over my phone interview! lol! :'( ;D I know a few of you have yours this week, so "GOOD LUCK" Let us know how you get on. :-* Nat xxx
aww thanks Tessa :-* Tears are half sadness and half laughter at how badly I think I did! I always get told I talk too fast; so I feel like the interview was just me waffling at full speed making absolutely no sense! :-\ ;D *crosses fingers and makes lots of wishes*
