I have a different question and Im sorry I think this might be the wrong spot to pose it but here goes. My names David first off! and I will be Graduating Culinary Arts School soon. How much of a chance do I have with 4 years Culinary experience plus the Schooling. Also how is the process
of joining with DCL? :

@David...I don't think schooling has that much of an impact as obviously some have had loads while others only secondary school. I think the main thing is that you're an outgoing person with the skills at working with others and customer service.

Obviously I can only go by what I have read and heard by others and what I can gage myself, but I think the way in which you emphasise the crucial parts of you CV is important.

Anyway wishing you all teh best of luck....

Ok Ok, I'm sorry I've not been round much. A combinion of stuff and things. If there is anything important I should know PM me here and I will get the message. Or do hat Colin does... IM me when I have my away notice up, that normally means I'm around, just not necessarily at my computer.

Anyway, welcome Daz and anyone I've not said hello to. And don't worry about the phone interviews, I had mine in August and they really aren't that bad.. Just be yourself and SMILE!!! It sounds daft, but it really does show in your voice.... Try listening to yourself talk when you are smiling and when you aren't, you will hear the differance

Well i had my interview today! :-\

It went ok. I answered some of the questions quite well but I really messed up on a couple. I was waffling so much on one of them, I realised not only wasn't I smiling, I wasn't making any sense! ;D
You plan exactly what your going to say, but when you're actually on the phone, your mind goes blank!! ???

Good luck everyone else! I soooo hope I passed but I'm preparing for the worst just in case! :'(

Oh and they said that there are not many places available for merch so some people who wanted it (like me) may get offered F&B. Obviously I said that i'd be happy with that. I wouldn't care what I did if I got the chance to work in Disney!!

The departure dates are September - December 2006 as far as i know

I got ask the usual questions like 'Why do you want to work for Disney?' 'Describe your home town?' etc
I knew what I wanted to say but my answers sounded like a big jumble! ;D

I got my phone interview this morning, in about 2 hours! SOOO nervous!

Hey everyone!

Nat...I'm sure your interview went great! And I'm sure they didn't think you waffled on - I'm sure I did the same in mine and had to think very carefully about my answers before I answered them and hey it all worked out fine. I'm hoping that you get through so we can hang out and chat more.

Anyway I'm off to yet another 3 hour exam - This ones the hard one!

Anyway good luck to whoevers got theirs next (I promise I'll be online more as soon as my exam are out the way!)
