That weekend was awesome and I feel incredibly lucky to have spent it with u guys, ur all fantastic so thanks u so much. And like Sally has said this is just the start to our little adventure! ;D

Anyone else here got a telephone interview from Yummy recently? It seems to have gone all dead on that front!

eeek! Only 1 and a half days left until its January!

I've not heard anything from yummy since October so have no idea whether interviews will be at the beginning of the month or at the end.

I really hope we all make it through. I do feel like we've become friends and i'd be so upset if somebody doesnt make it

Apologies for thread hijacking....

I just wondered Andrew where you found the contact details for DLP Casting from. Like you said, I can't fathom out their website at all - you've obviously done slightly better than me. I speak no French, but I want to see if they'd let me audition for a role in entertainment.

 

I only got DLP Casting info through asking on some Disney Paris forum I found. I was given the name of someone who worked for them - turned out he'd changed jobs, but he gave me the info of the guy in charge of casting for the UK now.

His name is Markus and his email is Markus.Strohschank@disney.com. His phone number is +33 164746139. I'm finding him pretty hard to get hold of and the whole thing seems like a real mess to me, but don't let that put you off - definitely worth trying for.

Hey everyone!

I just sent my resume to Cast-a-way on Tuesdayand recieved a reply the next day saying they will be in contact with me in January or Febuary to give me the exact dates for the interviews. Is that the phone interviews he is talking about?

This thread consists mostly of UK Applicants who apply through Yummy Jobs, I don't know how to answer your question unfortunately, I assume the application processes are similar, but they won't be identical! Sorry I can't be more help

Has anyone had their telephone interview yet? I remember mine this time last year too. I was given a time and i was staring at the phone! lol! If anything my advice would to be VERY chatty and not to leave silences in the conversation. Know the place where you live well and be proud to be British! lol! Alexis has just been in contact with me, i've got my interview on 31st January at 9:30. I had an initial email asking what times I would be available that week, and the when I replied I had a confirmed date and time within 4minutes Nicely done, now I just have to wait

I can't believe it's actually happening - I'm so glad and can't wait for March to come.

@ Disneyzoe - I have had my telephone interview (had it last July!!) and I agree with you...waiting for the call and staring t the phone hehe - totally nervewracking

Yeah make sure you know a lot about where you live as it will come in handy, but best of all just relax...they know that you are going to be nervous and they are super nice and make you feel really welcome.

Having a copy of you CV in front of you is also handy and a pen to jot things down. That way you can realx a bit more knowing you aren't going to forget anything.

Also after you've had it you'll completely forget everything yu spoke about....it's like a blank

Anyway I am waiting for mroe of you to post (or text) , so that I can wish you all good luck.

Happy New Year - hope you all had a good Christmas.

Had my email bout arranging interviews too - it'll be in the week of 16 January - don't think I'll specify a particular day, just emphasise NOT IN THE MORNING!!

Hate Januarys - especially this year having no uni to go back to, so nice to get a friendly email about WDW weeks before I expected it - wish someone would put them in charge of casting for Paris too  :
