January 2012 Applicants!

I don't know. I even waited a bit before applying and they were still open. Not sure if it matters but I'm from germany.

 

meh, i might apply-cant do any harm, but they have rejected me twice in a row so im fairly relaxed about if i do or dont get offered a job-ill apply because ive got nothing to lose.

I'm gonna apply again, despite applying the past two years and not even getting as far as the phone interviews. Let's hope it's third time lucky, if not as someone else said I've got nothing to lose. At least I know how to deal with the rejection now lol! But hey ho, fingers crossed. Need to fine tune my CV and cover letter which I'd planned to do over xmas but as applications have opened and I've only just found out, better get cracking.

 

Hi! I 'm new member here.
I had an interview in Zagreb for Bar waiter position with Disney CL and I did not get the job. I was not prepere myself good enough, even I was working for Carnival CL as Bar waiter.
Now, I 'm preselected for a skype interview for Ass. dinning room server with DCL and I expect a skype call from International services France in January.
So, if you have any tips and if you had an interview for the same position with DCL, please give me some advice.
Also, if somebody know is it that final or preinterview with agency?

I'm in the same boat I've applied over the past 2 years and never even made it to the phone interviews but this year I feel far more confident ! Which I'm not quite sure why but oh well ! My Cv/Cover letter is in now all I need to do is play the waiting game !

Will we only hear from Yummy once the deadline has passed? or has anyone already heard about phone interviews? I applied on the 13th, which already feels like ages ago, can't wait, ah!

 

I just checked me 1st e-mail from yummyjobs and it looks like it will more than likely be after the deadline D: ! I mean I could be completely wrong but it says "mid january" and if it closes on the 10th then it would make sense !
I know the feeling I'm so nervous waiting to hear back from them !

 

we will hear after the deadline closes probably within 2 weeks of deadline closing as they have said the deadlines are going to be shroter this year

 

Hey all I just applied for the first time. I did the ICP in 2010 and I'm desperate to go back. Does anyone know if we can continue to edit our profile/application after we've applied? I've edited my cover letter since and want to make sure thats the version they'll get :/

Just went back and found the answer haha so ignore that!

Anyone else been on the ICP thats applied?

 

So perhaps at least one of the complaints (ie, not the one about repeat applicants being treated rather badly) about the rediculous wait time got listenened to. Some progress at least.

It's not a Disney one so would i still be able to apply if i email yummy? Because i know you can't if you do the Disney summer programme because Disney can't sponsor two visas at once also since the start dates will be after the summer!

Hi, I'm Andrew, I'm 23 and have just sent off my application. As you may see from my forum join date I've been lurking here for quite a few years. I did the summer ICP back in 2008, and after a few years of 'normal' life in Britain my yearning for a job out at Walt Disney World hasn't waned so I've applied for the CRP! Here's hoping 2012's going to be filled with lots of Disney fun!

I'm applying for Disney (just finishing my covering letter as I didn't know the applications opened early until a few days ago !!!) but I was worried about leaving my boyfriend of almost three years behind but as my mum always says "If it's meant to be it'll be" Just think if we all get out there at least we'll be able to understand what the others are going through and help keep each other strong

Hey, welcome

Yep, if you get through to that stage they'll send you an email with a link for you to choose (from a few dates with times) when you want your phone interview. They also send you an email if you don't, so you do know either way.
