January 2010 F2F interview results

Yeah, sucks after all this waiting, just to get a rejection but although I'm disappointed about it, I'm not totally distraught. I've just been talking to my mum about it and I think she's more upset that I didnt get it than I am, bless her :-*

Going to go away, think about this all, get some more experience and reapply next January since I want to do a post grad course.

I'd say waitlisted! Well done!

Can anyone explain how it works?

CONGRATS to everyone who got a dept date!!! Exciting stufffff!!

 

Congrats! (and to everyone else who got a date/waitlisted who I havent congratulated yet!)

Waitlisted (Or Opportunity listed as they are now calling it) bascially means that they want you but they dont have a date/place for you just yet. If one comes up in the next six months that suits the info you gave them (date, job preferance ect) then they could give you a call.

Places could open up with people dropping out, leaving the job in Orlando or the fact that they need more staff than they originally realised if it looks like its going to get busy. Then again a space might not come up but I think a lot of the people waitlisted get called. At least, it seems that way reading older posts.

I think thats basically it. There are a few people on here who have been waitlisted from previous interview groups, so they might know more about the process

Im the happiest person alive right now!! Start 17th August in F&B, my first choice! I cant actually beleive it!

All those on the waitlist have faith, most of you if not all will probably end up going too!!
