I'm sorry, that could have been my fault!

I mistook some info from a Canadian applicant as info for UK applicants. I basically thought ours had started but I think it's the Canadian interviews which have started not ours! Sorry guys, didn't mean to panic you! :-\

But hey, on a plus side, it's now FEBRUARY! Which means thatwe'll hopefully hear soon! x

DEVASTATED!!!!!!!!!

Honestly...i feel like my heart has been wripped out and thrown to a wolf or somethin!!!!!!!

My dreams have been shattered!

OMG that is the scariest thing I have ever seen. I can't believe that! I hope you girls are alright, i would def be crushed. was that for crp or icp?

 

i sent my cv back in november and i got an email saying they are looking forward to considering me and will contact me in Jan/Feb, me being a big head assumed this meant i would get a phone interview lol! Im just a bit gutted that im not even gonna get the chance to chat them up a bit on the phone, and because i had heard of other people getting the rejection email straight after they sent in their cv, I wasnt worried about not getting a phone interview, if they werent going to be giving me a chance i think they should have told me sooner to be honest as they have told others sooner.

ive now paid for a travel and tourism course lol on the hope that it would assist me application what a waste! x

You applied for the CRP right? I started panicking thinking they were turning people down for the ICP. At least you can still apply for the ICP, although I think the closing date is today.

 

I can't believe what they've done! :'(

I know how you both must feel...I'm so sorry for both of you!

I think it brings home how much we're all expecting...if they're not considering people now, I doubt you two will be the only ones.

Have any ICP people been rejected without a phone interview? ???

 

I've had that email response too (that i'm unsuccessful) and to be honest i weren't prepared to hear that. What sounds stupid is that it says there are people more experienced in hospitality, tourism and leisure...but i applied to work in a shop!! (merchandise) And i have 6 years of retail experience. At 22 years old there can't be many people more experienced than that surely?! I originally applied in august and they said due to an overwhelming number of applicants they couldn't consider me at that time but that i should contact them again in january, so ive waited 6 months to find out when my interview will be and i've been turned down even a phone interview, it's really annoying! I guess they had a lot of applicants again so they can't consider everyone. But it's still disappointing : ( I might be going to uni next year so maybe i'll apply for 1 of the other programmes that uni students can do, my bf did that and he got accepted after having his phone interview - he didnt even need to go for a face 2 face interview so im thinking i might have more luck doing it then! Good luck to you if you do re-apply!

hey i got turned down to! it was such a shock like oh to be a mermaid i thought cause they said they will consider me i would get a phone interview? then they could see what i was really like as a person! besta luck every one else!!! x

Guys, really sorry to hear that so many people were not given a phone interview!
But keep applying never give up!

I got an email today offering me a phone interview gave a load of dates and times, sorry to everyone who did not make it but I wanted to give those eho had not heard hope too!!
