i hope they havent forgotton me :-( i just thought i applied back in august! they said they would keep my details on file and contact me in Jan but what if they don't, uh oh im worried now!!

 

i wonder if them great guys at yummy jobs realise how much of our time is spent thinking about every move they make! i wonder if they read this message board - oh no - they are probable not that sad

i wouldn't worry - doesn't sound like they've contacted anyone yet.

I applied in august and got the same response - apply again in january, we'll keep u on file BUT having found out since then how not-quite-so-well-organised-as-you'd-think yummy are, I'd recommend sending them your CV again! U don't wanna miss out again when you've waited all this time!

This may be a ridiculous question but a CV is a cover letter right?

 

No, a cover letter is literally a letter telling YJ why you want to work for Disney etc etc... and what dates you'd want to go (like, general months). It's quite hard to explain!

 

i applied in November they wont forget me will they, i dont wanna send my letter in again! I got the email saying they would contact me end of Jan xx

 

I applied very late November, i'm not going to bother emailing them again though. Don't worry, they're not going to forget you! sometimes i think they get confused over ICP and CRP people but i've not heard of them totally losing an application or not getting back to someone who applied. Although i can't blame people for worrying over lost applications...so easy to worry with all this waiting :-\ :-\

 

Hey a cv is what we call a resume in canada-- haha, these brits and their fancy lingo if it wasn't for my british mom, i'd be lost reading some of these posts!
