Yummy rang me and left a message while I was in an exam...but I didn't get out til 5 and by the time I rang back they'd all gone home!!!

NOW I HAVE TO WAIT TIL MONDAY!!!!!!!!

Yea, I was gonna say try calling them tomorrow - they might be still be in the office calling people anyway! I hope you get through to them!! At least they called you though so it looks like you'll be joining us!

Congrats flashinghelmet (I don't kno ur real name lol sorry!!) I could barely hear her too and was just trying to take all the info in so I'm glad they're sending our info packs out soon!! Operations was my second choice - it sounds pretty good and at least you have a good chance of working at one of the parks! I really hope I'm put in a park too and not in a store in a hotel, not that I mind too much but it'd be wicked to work in MK or somethin!

ARGH!!! I'm so excited! This summer is gonna go so slow!!!!

I'm Louise and i'm 21 (looking forward to drinking in florida this time). i'm in my last year at Sheffield University doing genetics. I'm from Cambridge (England) and i did the ICP last summer where i worked in merch in the magic kingdom (adventureland). This time i'm doing merch again and am hoping to live somewhere other than the treehouses.

If some of us live fairly close to each other we shoud meet up before October to get to know each other properly!!

So anywayz.. i guess im the one furthest away.. I'm Scarlet, 24 years old from Tabasco, Mexico. I graduated from International Commerce almosr 2 years ago and last year I was an ICP working on F&B Magic Kingdom on Frontierland and Adventureland. This time i'll be working at a resort.. still dont know which one though..
I'm starting to regret having asked for a hospitality role since I'm sure it wont be the same working at a hotel all day instead of working at a park.. last year it was really cool cuz, even if i had had a crappy day, i still looked forward to the 3pm parade, spectromagic and wishes.. *sigh* anywayz... we'll see how that turns out for me...

 

My best friend had the same problem!! she was at work when they called her! now she has to wait but still she's gonna try call them tomorrow.. hopefullyyou'll both get the good news by tomorrow morning!! **fingers crossed*

OMG!!! I'm sooo happy!!! my best friend just called YUMMY JOBS and they told her she is IN!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!! It's been a year since i last saw her back in Orlando and noooow i can't wait to see her again in October!! woooow!!!! this is such great news!!!

btw.. that must mean that tinydancinggirl is IN as well so..yaaaay!!!

Yes...I got the call. I'm IN!!!! Got my first choice, Hospitality Yummy Jobs rang me back in the afternoon after my last exam so I was a bit tipsy and cant remember anything she said to me other than the main point which is I'M GOING BACK TO DISNEY!!!

Sorry I didn't let you know before, I was out celebrating the end of my finals End of exams and getting on the Grad program, what a great day!!

 

Well done and i bet your happy to finish exams too. I finish on wednesday and i can't wait.

 

YEA! Well Done! I figured you were probably through! There's going to be so many of us it's going to be great! I think I am already boring my friends and family by going on about it all the time! They're gonna want to kill me by the time october comes around! (BTW we go 18 weeks today!!!! - slightly obvious that I have too much time on my hands since finishing uni!)

So did everyone else get the email from Yummy with all the forms to fill in. I'm going to have to sort out my finances because my account is negative at the moment. It's a bit unfair really because i've only just finished my exams and I start work next week. I'm sure most people will be the same. Hopefully my parents can help out.

 

^ Yeah, I had to sub £1000 off my parents for that form. It was a nuisence coz it took ages to clear with all the Easter Bank Holidays.

 

I haven't had that email yet...I thought payment was due on arrival anyway?
