J1 College Academic Program (Hospitality Management) arriving Oct 7th

My boss wanted me to work until Ocrober 5th but his boss said NO.. there's another guy already trainning to take me place soooo.. they want him to get work experience as soon as possible.. *sigh* it¡s not like i LOOOVE my job! well.. actually i do.. it¡s the people i have to work with i hate hehe.. but anywayz.. i wanted to stay longer cuz of the moooney!!! but anywayz.. i guess 2 whole weeks to prepare everything will be much appretiated! hehe

haha dont you feel now like.. WOOOW!! IT¡S REALLY HAPPENNING!!?? hehe.. i know i do everytime i see my luggage by my bed!! I wish i could take my pillows with me.. i need my 3 pillows to have a goodnight sleep hehe and since I'm arriving to Orlando at midnight I wont have any time to go buy my pillows for my first night there! :-[

 

midnight!!! i feel so sorry for you, i get in at 2.30pm so not bad at all

 

ugh! i knooow!! last year i went through the saaaaaame!! i arrived at midnight but then i had taken my first flight at 8am and i was soooo nervous that i didnt have any food throughout the whooooooole freaking day! so when i finally arrived at midnight i was staaarving!! i felt weak and tired and then i had to carry my 3 suitcases up to the 3rd floor to my appartment hahaha!!
At least this time my first flight out is at 11.50am and i'll have more than enough time to eat some breakfast and i'll sure have some dinner in atlanta before boarding to orlando hehe.. ;D

 

Sounds better all round to me! lol! 16 hrs to get there and no food all day WOW!!!

I can see me not feeling like eating on the day actually I imagine its gonna be quite a nervous day for most people! lol :-\

 

I know! sounds retarded hehe but i was sooo nervous i couldnt think of eating!!! then when i finally arrived to Orlando and i was on the bus on my way to Chatham i calmed down and started feeling dizzy and weak hahahaha... im telling ya! no matter how nervous you are.. BETTER EAT SOMETHNG HEHE!! and as soon as you get there.. go to Downtown Disney and have some amazing dinner hehe i'll have to wait until October 8th to do so

 

Just to confirm guys...Have all you people who are unemployed left box 20 of the DS-156 blank and put student in box 21? Really worried im the only one who has done that lol

 

Don't use vacuum bags!! if security decide to check your case (which happens alot!), or you are asked to open your case and they need to search everything, then you wont be able to get your stuff back into your cases!!!

 

Well I have anyway. There are some people who have already been to there interviews and they didn't seem to have any problems.

 

Yup-- you shouldnt worry.. my best friend had her visa interview in Copenhagen last Monday and she did exactly that and had no problems at all.. she should receive her passport + visa next week!!!

Just getting ready now for my trip the the london embassy, and with typical luck i've started with the flu, so i'm gonna be really uncomfortable for at least 4 hours on friday, it would seem.

Last year i had the saaame problem!! i had a nasty flu and kept worrying i might have a runny nose on my visa picture haha!! (that would have been classic haha!) and then while i was waiting i had an cough episode!!! :-[ everytime i get the flu my throat gets really bad and i start coughing like a MANIAC!!! i get completely red and start coughing so much i cant breathe.. *sigh*.. it gets really ugly!!! so.. imagine! me at the embassy coughing my butt off.. haha!! i still got the visa soooo... i guess we shouldnt worry hehe

I have a friend who'll arrive Saturday night.. and we dont know who to ask information on where she should go move in on Sunday...

yeh, two weeks to go! woop woop, and as James said i got my visa approved.

On a sad note my bunny died tonight am so upset she wasn't even a year old.

 

I'm sorry Elisa. I know how you feel. My cat died while I was at disney last summer and I was so upset. Just try to stay positive because it's not long until we will be in florida.

Is there a limit to how much money we can take with us over to America, as I have $3000 ($2000 for the fees and $1000 for me ive saved) Its mostly in travellers cheques! lol

Just wondered if there is any sort of cut off.
