You should be able to pay the SEVIS fee even a day earlier since you'll get a Receipt Confirmation which you should bring with you to the visa appointment then they'll check on their system if it's correct.. so.. dont worry about it.

About the passport.. yeah, you should check with yummyjobs.. I'm nervous about it too cuz when i flew home some idiot from the airline stapled the I-94 to my passport exactly on the barcode.. so, they told me that when i go back to the US it might be a problem cuz they wont be able to scan all my information from the barcode.. damn it! i predict long hooours at customs.. *sigh*

Kristen checked for me last week if the embassy would be okay with us paying or servis late because we hadn't got our forms and she was told they won't penialise us!.

 

You wont be paying it late if you pay it before Tuesday tho Elisa as your appointment isnt till Friday. Remember they only ask for it to be paid 3 working days in advance!

By the way it may be worth noting that its not worth paying the $30 for courier delivery on the reciept cos I have found out that takes at least a week to arrive which is too long! I just went with the ordinary delivery becuase the receipt they supply you with onlin eis sufficient!

I know some people have paid the $30 but just thought id try and save people some money for more Disney fun in 3 weeks! lol

 

Paid my $100 to SEVP for my SERVS fee, so just got my program assessment fee now which i not paying till i have my visa in my passport. woop woop.

Only 22 days to go...am scared...butt also very excited!!!

Really need to start packing now -otherwise i'll end up taking a load of dirty washing. lol.

I didnt pay it as its pointless! The print out works as your reciept! Plus even with the courier service it takes at least a week!

 

way pay when you can print a reciept which they will accept plus tghey can post one free. lol

I figured out the payment for the application fee...and yes I'm going to be in Disneyland on the 7th October can't wait to meet all of you!!

No difference to me.. I work at the airport so it doesnt matter if it's independence day or christmas.. we're always open.. and we're always working.. :-\

i finish may job on 5th october - so no holiday in between for me!!! Though i making a long weekend out of having to go to london for my visa appointment, if i'm travelling all that way i might as well sightsee and see my mates who leave there. lol!!!!

 

I wish I was still at work. I'm bored already and I only finished a week ago. Oh well 3 weeks should fly by. Should start packing soon I suppose.

 

i started packing properly today - just things like duvet, pillow and stuff i'm not needing everyday! Use vacumn bags they are a godsend!!!
